was established as a Catholic, non-stock, non-political, non-profit corporation dedicated towards building a community of loving families guided by the Word of God, eager to serve using their 3 Ts - time, talent, and treasures. It owes its early existence to the Alpha Zeta ME Tuklasan Valenzuela sector to which the charter members of GOL then belonged until the year 1998. It was in 1999 when t
he select group from Valenzuela decided to regroup themselves as the Our Lady of the Rosary M.E. Community, this time a parish-based organization. It held its first M.E. Weekend Seminar at the Paradise Resort in Malolos, Bulacan using the FIRES Module administered by Rev. Dars Cabral of Sta. Rita de Cascia Parish, Guiguinto, Bulacan. On July 20, 2007, GOL was registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission under Company Registration No. CN200711410. Its Articles of Incorporation states that its primary purpose "shall be to advance and promote the spiritual growth of every couple through sponsorship of ME weekend seminars, follow-up reunions, prayer assemblies, family encounters, retreats, parenting/values/personal growth seminars, outreach programs, Team and Lay counseling programs, documentation and research, and fund raising activities to finance the various apostolic projects of the association." Leapfrogging through the years, the present GOL now stands, by the grace of God Almighty, as a strong pillar in the church as well as in the community. Led by a Chair Couple and their Executive Officers who implement the policies and decisions laid down by a 16 -member Board of Trustees, it is further subdivided into committees, each with its own sphere of responsibilities. These committees consist of the following: Organization, Membership, Finance, Mass Media, Service, Formation, Liturgy, and Youth. Among its major projects are the Weekend M.E.Seminar, evangelization, Scholarship Program for poor but deserving college students, disaster relief projects for calamity victims, and various fund-raising activities. GOL also has its own radio program aired over Radio Veritas846 every Friday at 8pm entitled “Gospel of Love”. GOL ensures that its members remain intact despite the rapid increase in membership by strengthening the batches through regular reunions and continuous training of their respective follow-up couples. Trying to live up to its name, GOL shall always endeavor to serve as a channel of God’s Love for us by building Christ-centered marriages and families closely bound together by a deep faith in our Heavenly Father.
