Worldliness - is when the values of the world become more important than the will of God.

What does Worldliness look like?

1. WORLDLINESS IS COMPROMISE
The enemy knows that if he cannot destroy your faith instantly, he will weaken it graduallyโ€”through small compromises that seem harmless but erode conviction over time.

2. WORLDLINESS IS SELF-CENTERED
One of the greatest lies of the world is: โ€œLife is all about you.โ€ It shifts our focus from Godโ€™s purpose to personal comfort, pleasure, and recognition.

3. WORLDLINESS IS CONFORMING
We are citizens of heaven living in a broken world. Worldliness pressures us to blend in, when we are actually called to stand out.

Ang offense ay isa sa mga dangerous wreckers inside the church and inside our hearts. Marami na ang nagulong simbahan, umalis, at nasirang pagkakaibigan dahil sila ay na-offend.

Ang offense ay galing sa Greek word na โ€œskandalonโ€ โ€” ibig sabihin ay trap o bitag. Katulad ng bait sa mouse trap, mukhang maliit lang, pero once na kinagat mo, mabibitag ka na, ganito gumalaw ang kaaway.

COME BACK BEFORE ITโ€™S TOO LATE.

๐Ÿ“– 1 Kings Chapter 14

1. God catches Jeroboamโ€™s attention through the sickness of his son.
2. God brings judgment upon the house of Jeroboam.
3. God shows mercy to Jeroboamโ€™s son by taking his life in peace.

We see the heartbreaking result of turning away from God, but also a powerful reminder that the Lord still calls His people back to Him. King Jeroboam led Israel into sin by worshiping idols instead of trusting the one true God. Because of this, the nation faced judgment and sorrow. Yet even in their failure, Godโ€™s message was clear: He desires repentance, obedience, and restored relationship with His people.

This story reminds us that no matter how far we drift, the Lordโ€™s invitation to return remains open. When we choose humility over pride and seek Him with sincere hearts, we can find grace, forgiveness, and restoration. God is not only a God of justiceโ€”He is also a God of mercy who longs to bring His children back to Him.

In conclusion, come back to the one true God, before itโ€™s too late.

GUARDING GODโ€™S HOUSE FROM WITHIN: HOME WRECKERS Series Week 1: The Jezebel Spirit

๐Ÿ“– Acts 20:28-31
Ang simbahan ay subject sa kahit anong peligro na pwede nitong maranasan habang ito'y nag-eexist. Kahit na sinasamahan ng Diyos ang simbahan, mayroon pa ring danger zone lalo na't hindi tayo nagiging mapagbantay. Ang laban ng mga early churches ay laban pa rin natin ngayon, kaya we need to be firm and steadfast. At isa sa mga home wreckers na pwedeng sumira sa simbahan ay ang Jezebel Spirit.

THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT (1 King 16 - 2 Kings 10, Revelation 2:18-21)
- attractive, persuasive, manipulation, rebellion, sexual immorality

Many christians believe that the Jezebel spirit is still attacking many churches today.

ANO ANG KAILANGANG BANTAYAN?

1. SEEKS TO CONTROL AND MANIPULATE - likes to control the decisions in church, and can control those behind the scene. These can result to church division.

2. IT SEDUCES AND DECEIVES - no boundaries with wrong attachments or emotional closeness, with sexual attraction and deceitful.

3. IT BREEDS REBELLION - not comfortable in submission, and silently questioning the leadership. Imbis na turuan kang mag-submit, tuturuan ka niya to hate the leadership. It is a critical and rebellious spirit.

COUNTER ATTACK:
1. Test the spirit.
2. Strengthen biblical discernment.
3. Embrace humility and submission.
4. Repent!

Kumakalat ang impluwensya ng Jezebel spirit kaya dapat ang tugon natin ay sincere repentance. Huwag nating hayaan na makapasok ito sa ating tahanan, kundi tayo ay magtulungan na labanan ito.
