Bilang paghahanda sa ika-50 anibersaryo ng pagiging National Shrine ng National Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Fatima, inaanyayahan ang lahat na dumalo sa isang symposium sa Linggo, Mayo 24, sa ganap na 1:00 PM.

Tatalakayin sa programa ang kasaysayan ng National Shrine at Parish of Our Lady of Fatima, ang National Pilgrim Image at iba pang mga imahen ng Fatima na nakalagak sa simbahan, gayundin ang catechesis tungkol sa kahulugan ng pagiging isang National Shrine at ang pagpapalalim ng debosyon kay Maria.

In preparation for the 50th Anniversary of the National Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Fatima as a National Shrine, everyone is invited to a symposium on Sunday, May 24, at 1:00 PM.

The symposium will feature discussions on the history of the National Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Fatima, the National Pilgrim Image and other Fatima images enshrined in the church, as well as a catechesis on the significance of being a National Shrine and fostering Marian devotion.

The Pax Romana - Arts and Letters Unit warmly invites all of you to welcome the NATIONAL PILGRIM IMAGE OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA from the National Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Fatima located in Valenzuela City.

The said image of the Virgin Mary is a symbolic witness to the historic 1986 EDSA People Revolution. Amidst the clamor of political tensions, she became a herald of liberation to a democracy threatened by collapse, and a reminder of hope for a peaceful nation that is to come.

As we remember this triumph over oppression through the power of prayer, we invite all of you to pray before this Pontifically Crowned Image of Our Lady. Seeking her motherly intercession to her son, we pray for our country and our leaders, our whole Thomasian community, and our brothers and sisters in the margins whom our Blessed Mother loves deeply.

Join us on the 18th of May as we welcome our Queen and Mother, Our Lady of Fatima.

Ang Pagpapahayag ni Jesus sa Kasalan sa Cana, Galilea
Ang Mabuting Balita ayon kay San Juan (2:1-11)

Nang Ikatlong araw ay nagdaos ng isang kasalan sa Cana ng Galilea, at naroon ang ina ni Jesus. Inanyayahan din si Jesus at ang kanyang mga alagad sa kasalan. Ngayon nang maubos ang alak ay sinabi ng Ina ni Jesus sa Kanya, "Wala na silang alak." Winika sa kanya ni Jesus, "Babae, ano ito sa Akin at sa iyo? Hindi pa dumarating ang Aking oras." Sinabi ng kanyang ina sa mga naglilingkod, "Gawin ninyo ang ano mang sabihin sa inyo."
Mayroon doong anim na tapayan, na nakalaan sa kaugaliang paghuhugas ng mga Judio, na ang bawat isa ay naglalaman ng dalawa o tatlong takal, sinabi ni Jesus sa mga naglilingkod, "Punuin ninyo ng tubig ang mga tapayan," aniya sa kanila ,"at dalhin sa namamahala ng pagkain." At dinala nila.
Nang matikman ng namamahala ng pagkain ang tubig na naging alak, at di niya nalalaman kung saan nanggaling, bagaman nalalaman ng mga naglilingkod na sumalok ng tubig. tinawag nรญya ang kasintahang lalaki, at sinabi sa kanya, "ang unang inihahain ng lahat ay ang mabuting alak hanggang ngayon." Ito ang unang himala na ginawa ni Jesus sa Cana ng Galilea at ipinakita niya ang kanyang kaluwalhatian, at nagsisampalataya sa kanya ang kanyang mga alngad.

PAGNINILAY:
- Sa ebanghelyo ni San Juan ang ministeryo ni Jesus ay nagsimula sa kasalan sa Cana, Calilea naroon sl Maria: Siya ang"Babaeng" binabanggit sa aklat ng Genesis.
- Si Maria ang dalilang halimbawa ng Simbahan at ng mga kasapi nito.
Tayo, ang Simbahan, ay dapat na mahigpit na naka-ugnay kay Jesus na Tagapagligtas.
- Ang ating kaugnayan kay Jesus ay dapat mangahulugan ng pakikiisa sa pagsasakatuparan ng dulot niyang kaligtasan ngayon at sa ating lugar at panahon.

Ipanalangin mo kami O Santa Mariang Ina ng Diyos,
Nang kamiโ€™y maging dapat makinabang sa mga Pangako ni Hesukristong aming Panginoon.
