Please pray for the next generation and every campus. May all Christian community unites to start Campus Revolution for Christ. This generation needs Christ more.
Today, our hearts ache again.
Another classroom has become a place of fear, another family received news no parent should ever have to hear, another young lives has been suddenly cut short.
Another generation of children is being reminded that even the places meant to protect them can become places of hurt.
Lord, have mercy over our generation...
And we the church, cannot simply say, "Praying for the Philippines,” and scroll away.
We must truly pray, weep, truly intercede and truly awaken. We need to ask harder questions.
What is happening in the hearts of our young people? What wounds are being hidden behind classroom doors?
What happens when loneliness, anger, bullying, rejection, violence, access to weapons, and destructive influences are left unattended?
What happens when children are surrounded by thousands of voices online but have no one sitting beside them asking, “How is your soul?”
And what happens when the Church becomes so busy holding conferences, building platforms, growing ministries, and filling programs that we fail to notice the wounded child sitting quietly in the corner?
Church, our mission is not only inside the four walls of our buildings. Our mission includes the classrooms, the campuses, the homes, the streets.
The broken teenager, the bullied child.
The angry young man, the lonely student.
The teacher who is exhausted, the parent who doesn't know what their child is carrying.
We need churches that don't merely preach to children on Sundays but walk with them throughout the week.
We need fathers who pray over their children, mothers who listen without immediately condemning, pastors who know the names and stories of the young people in their congregations.
Youth leaders who can recognize when a teenager is silently drowning, mentors who will sit with the difficult child instead of simply labeling them as rebellious.
Schools and churches that take safety, counseling, trauma, bullying, digital influences, and responsible firearm stewardship seriously.
And above all... we need a Church that knows how to intercede. Not shallow prayers or occasional prayers but believers who will stand in the gap and cry: “Lord, save our children, expose what is hidden, heal wounded hearts before those wounds become violence.”
“Lord, protect our schools", "our homes", “Lord, give wisdom to teachers, parents, counselors, administrators, and authorities.”
“Lord, break cycles of hatred, bullying, abuse, violence, and despair.”
“Lord, raise up young people who know that their identity is not found in popularity, revenge, possessions, social media, or the approval of others...but in Christ.”
Because perhaps the child who desperately needs Jesus today will never walk into our church building. So the Church must be willing to go where the children are.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me.”
In Matthew 19:14 so let us take that seriously.
Let us not wait until another child is killed before we care, let us not wait until another family is shattered before we pray, let us not wait until another teenager cries for help through destructive behavior before we listen.
Let us not become a Church that only mourns the dead. Let us become a Church that reaches the living.
A Church that watches, that listens, that protect, that disciples, that confronts darkness with truth and love.
A Church that enters wounded places carrying the presence of Jesus because our children are not statistics. They are souls, sons, daughters. They are image-bearers of God.
And every classroom filled with children should remind us: There is a generation in front of us that desperately needs Jesus.
So tonight, let us spend time on our knees praying.
Pray for every school in this nation, for the students who are afraid, for the wounded, for the grieving parents, for teachers, for school administrators, for counselors, for government and law enforcement.
Pray for the young people who are secretly battling darkness and then get up from your knees deciding to go.
Go love them, listen, disciple, mentor, serve and protect. Go preach Christ... go and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Because prayer is not an excuse for inaction and action without prayer is powerless. The Church needs both.
May the Lord heal our nation's children. May He expose darkness before it destroys another life.
May He turn the hearts of fathers toward their children and the hearts of children toward hope.
..And may the Philippines see a generation not consumed by violence.. but filled by His Spirit ❤️🔥
