Buong siglang ipinagdiwang kahapon, Enero 18, ang Pistang Dakila ng Señor Santo Niño sa pangunguna ng SPPC Sto. Niño Chapel, na ginanap sa F. Bautista Street. Sama-samang inalay ang saya, sayaw, at pananalig bilang pasasalamat sa Mahal na Señor Santo Niño.

MINISTRY OF ALTAR SERVERS — YEAR END PARTY 2025

As we come to the close of this blessed year, the Ministry of Altar Servers gathers with grateful hearts to reflect on a journey marked by faith, service, friendship, and grace. From every Mass served to every prayer offered, we are reminded that our strength comes from God who calls and sustains us.

Throughout the year, we have grown not only as altar servers but as faithful servants of the Lord—learning humility, dedication, and unity through both challenges and joys. This year-end celebration is more than a party; it is our thanksgiving for the blessings, lessons, and memories entrusted to us.

On behalf of the officers and members of MoAS, we sincerely thank our parish priest, Fr. Nap Baltazar, for his unwavering guidance and inspiring leadership, and our parochial vicar, Fr. B**g Sabangan, for his constant encouragement and spiritual care. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors for the food and financial support that helped make this celebration possible.

As we end this year, we offer everything back to God. May we continue to serve together with joy, grow in faith, and give glory to Him in all things.

Sto. Cristo Parish, Marulas, Valenzuela City

Sa biyaya ng Panginoon, matagumpay na naidaos ang Parish Altar Servers’ Day na ginanap noong ika-16 ng Agosto 2025. Isang araw ng pasasalamat, pagkakaisa, at pagpapatibay ng misyon ng mga kabataang handang maglingkod sa altar ng ating simbahan.

Sa temang:
“𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞: 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡, 𝐉𝐨𝐲𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞.”
Ipinakita ng ating mga kabataang tagapaglingkod na ang kanilang paglilingkod ay hindi lamang tungkulin, kundi isang masayang paglalakbay ng pananampalataya at pag-asa.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng tumulong at nakibahagi upang maging matagumpay ang pagdiriwang na ito. Nawa’y patuloy tayong lumago sa paglilingkod at pananampalataya bilang mga tunay na Pilgrims of Hope.

CATHOLICISM IS BEAUTIFUL!

I often wonder how many people leave the Catholic Church without fully realising what they are leaving behind.

Some search for a faith that feels more engaging, more emotional, more convenient. Others may not even realise what the Church truly teaches, having only scratched the surface. And yet, I cannot bring myself to look elsewhere because I have come to believe that Catholicism is not just one way among many. It is the fullness of faith.

This is why I love being Catholic. Not because it is easy, but because it is true. Not because it makes me feel good, but because it draws me deeper into Christ. Not because it aligns with my preferences, but because it transforms me into something greater than myself.

There is nothing lacking in the Catholic faith. Nothing missing. Nothing incomplete. It is the Church Christ Himself established, the faith that has endured for over two thousand years, the place where heaven meets earth.

So why look elsewhere? Why settle for less when the fullness of truth is already here?

For those who may not have explored it deeply, I say this. Look again. Step into the mystery, the beauty, the depth of Catholicism. The Church is not just an institution. It is home. It is not just a religion. It is the path to eternal life.

And once you see it for what it truly is, you will never desire anything else.

THE 7 GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

In Catholic tradition, the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord, and they are bestowed through the Sacrament of Confirmation. These gifts help Catholics deepen their relationship with God, live according to His will, and serve others with love and humility. They are rooted in Scripture, particularly in Isaiah 11:2-3, and are essential for spiritual growth, guiding believers to make moral decisions, persevere in faith, and foster a reverent fear of God's greatness and goodness.

The Ministry of Altar Servers Outing 2025 was a truly blessed day. It was filled with joy, rest, and meaningful fellowship. A beautiful moment to pause, reflect, and be grateful for the gift of serving.

To our dear altar servers, thank you for your dedication, humility, and faithful service at the Lord’s altar. This day was a small way to honor the big role you play in our community.

To our kind-hearted donors, sponsors, and supporters, thank you for your generosity and support. You have been a channel of God's grace, and we are deeply thankful for you.
