Many cults, false doctrines, and people claim that true believers in Jesus or those who have been saved by God can still end up in hell because they can supposedly lose their salvation.
Instead of believing them, why don’t we seek God’s truth through His Word?
Hebrews 7:23-25 (NIV)
[23] Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office;
[24] but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.
[25] Therefore, he is able to SAVE COMPLETELY those who come to God through him because he always lives to intercede for them.
Romans 1:16 says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the POWER of GOD to SALVATION for everyone who BELIEVES;
Ephesians 2:8 says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God".
A true Christian—saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, for the glory of God alone—cannot lose their salvation.
Why? Because JESUS CHRIST, our High Priest, intercedes for us forever.
The Bible teaches the doctrine of eternal security because the One who promised it has the eternal power to fulfill and guarantee it. Amen!
