As the Sabbath begins, may we lay down our worries and receive the rest God freely gives.

“I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”

The Ministerial Seminar of Mountain View College enjoyed another Sabbath filled with worship, God’s Word, songs, laughter, good food, and meaningful fellowship. It was a simple but beautiful reminder of how special it is to worship and spend time together as one family.

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”

How blessed it is to begin the month with a Sabbath filled with worship, singing, laughter, shared meals, children’s activities, and meaningful fellowship. The Ministerial Seminar of Mountain View College gathered as one family to listen to God’s Word, encourage one another, and enjoy the gift of being together.

“What makes Sabbath even more meaningful?” Perhaps it is the joy of worshiping God and sharing life with one another.

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”Psalm 133:1 (KJV)

Blessings are more than just the good things we receive in life.
True blessedness also includes the trials and temptations that purify our hearts.

Brother Rudz Rendyl Carangue shared this powerful insight with us.
It is a meaningful message that deepens our understanding of faith.

What makes the Sabbath so special?

"This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." — Psalm 118:24 (NKJV)

The beauty of the Sabbath is often found in moments like children learning about Jesus with joyful hearts, melodies united in songs of praise, warm conversations, shared laughter, and fellowship that reminds us we are part of God's family.

These moments may seem ordinary, but they leave a lasting impact. They encourage our faith, strengthen our relationships, and point us back to the One who brings us together.

May we never take these blessings for granted, and may every Sabbath continue to draw us closer to Christ and to one another.
