* When Jesus went up to heaven, His disciples could’ve just stared at the sky forever. But God sent angels to remind them: “Don’t stand still. The story isn’t over.”
* Some of you are like those disciples - staring at what’s lost, stuck in what’s scary, paralyzed by what you don’t understand.
* But Jesus didn’t die and rise again so you could stand still. He rose so you could move - empowered, fearless, focused.
* Romans 8:11 (ERV): “God raised Jesus from death, and if God’s Spirit is living in you, he will also give life to your bodies.”
* You’re not meant to live scared: you’re meant to live Spirit-filled. You’re not meant to escape, you’re meant to engage. You’re not meant to just believe in Jesus, you’re meant to become like Him.
* So, stop staring at the sky. Stop replaying what went wrong. Stop letting fear and distractions run your life
* Ask the Holy Spirit: “Lord, fill me again. Give me power to live bravely.”� Because when the Spirit fills you, fear loses its hold — and you start to truly live.

• Job’s story is raw, real, and painful but it’s also redemptive. It teaches us that suffering isn’t the end of the story.
• When life feels upside down, don’t hide from God. Talk to Him. Cry to Him. Bring your lament, your pain, your disappointment.
• Because healing starts when you stop pretending and start being honest with the One who already knows.
• Job didn’t get all the answers, but he got something better: he got God Himself.� And that’s the point of it all. Even when everything else is stripped away, God’s presence is enough.

• The "Counter-Culture" series means following Jesus by living differently—with unique love, focus, and hope—instead of blending in.

• If your love has been misplaced, God invites you back to experience His unfading love.

• Decide to be countercultural: love God more, shine His light through intentional living, and love others better.

Week 4 | Finding God in your Suffering

• When we don’t know what to do, we can trust the Good Shepherd who leads us. We can fall more in love with God through discipleship, not just knowing facts but aligning our hearts with His.
• We can practice spiritual disciplines that strengthen our faith. And when suffering comes, because it will, we can hold on to these truths:
• Suffering tests what we treasure. Do we love God for who He is, or just for His gifts?
• God meets us in our pain. He doesn’t leave us alone in the storm.
• And suffering shapes us for His glory. It’s not wasted. It makes us more like Jesus.
• Empower YTH, this is the life God calls us to. A life that isn’t always easy, but always worth it. Because in the end, Jesus is worth it all.

• Spiritual disciplines are like training exercises. Athletes train to win games. Students study to pass exams.
• Christians practice these disciplines to grow strong in faith.
• So here’s the challenge: do not wait until you are in the middle of a crisis to start training. Start now.
• Feed on the Word, not just the world. Keep the chat open with God. Worship with your whole life, not just your playlist. And learn to fast so you can focus.
• When you do these things, you’re not just learning about God. You’re falling deeper in love with Him. And that love will carry you through whatever life throws at you.

• When we do not know what to do, the answer is not to panic but to go deeper in our relationship with God.
• Protect your feed by guarding what comes into your heart.
• Love first and obey next, letting your actions flow out of your relationship with Jesus.
• Pick your main influence so that God shapes your identity more than the world does.
• Because when your heart is guarded, your love for God is genuine, and your influences are godly, you will be ready for whatever life throws at you.

When life gets confusing, remember the Lord is your Shepherd, leading you step by step. Even through valleys, don't fear, for He is with you. He provides what your heart truly needs, though the path may differ from your expectations. When pressure builds and fear creeps in, don't panic, rush, or give up. Trust the Shepherd, for He knows the way and walks it with you. That is more than enough.
