Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went to the leading priests and asked, “How much will you pay me to betray Jesus to you?” And they gave him thirty pieces of silver. From that time on, Judas began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus.

𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗲. 💛

You will eventually find out about the even little lies. In an effort to cover up a previous lie, you often repeat another as well, which feeds the cycle of lying.

People find it difficult to believe you when you lie, even about simple matters.

𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 because it provides peace of mind, while the other causes stress and anxiety about getting caught. Truthfulness and honesty are important to God.

As followers of Jesus, we must try to live an honest life, as the Bible declares that Jesus is the truth. Not only is honesty the greatest policy because it's what's right to do, but it also 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹. 🌅

Keep knowing that God is making you love Him more. Knowing He will lead to an increase in your faith and help you grow in the Lord. Keep going, even if you know how difficult and tough this journey of faith would be.
