The Diocese occupies a total land area of 1,616 sq. bounded on the east by the Diocese of San Jose; on the west by the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan; on the north by the Diocese of Baguio-Benguet and the Diocese of San Fernando; on the south by the Diocese of Tarlac. Around 80% of the population traces their origin from the Ilocos provinces, thus making ILOCANO as the predominant culture. Economy is mainly agriculture.
