IN PHOTOS | CLOSING ACTIVITY | Day 3 Highlights

As part of the closing activity of , participants exchanged keychains containing their personal commitments to the Lord through their service in the Youth Ministry. More than a simple token, each keychain served as a meaningful reminder of the promises they made to serve wholeheartedly, guided by our theme:
“Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others.” — Colossians 3:23

May these commitments inspire all Kalakbays to continue living their faith and mission with joy, humility, and dedication long after the camp has ended.

Thank you, mga Kalakbay, for making this Summer Youth Camp a meaningful encounter of faith, service, and mission.

It was a meaningful synodal experience as our participants immersed themselves in the communities of Zone 4 and Puelay, Villasis, Pangasinan.

Each group shared their gifts in different ways:

- St. Pedro Calungsod Group catechized the children and shared the beauty of our Catholic faith.
- St. Francis of Assisi Group led a clean-up drive, serving the community through care for our common home.
- St. Joseph Group was warmly welcomed by host families, spending two meaningful hours listening, sharing stories, and building connections.
- St. Catherine of Bologna Group expressed their creativity by designing pouches, bracelets, and other “anik-anik” keychains inspired by Summer Youth Camp 2026

In the afternoon, participants reflected on their experiences and shared how they encountered Christ in the people they served and in the stories they heard. Day 2 taught us that when we offer our talents, time, and service wholeheartedly to God, every act becomes a meaningful expression of love and mission.

“Let your service come from your deepest union with God.” - Rev. Fr. Gerald Aquino

During the Day 1 Afternoon Session of , our keynote speaker reminded us that when our service comes from our deepest union with God, we are able to live out Colossians 3:23—serving wholeheartedly, not for recognition, but for the Lord. In this way, ministry becomes a source of grace rather than exhaustion.

From arrival and registration to the orientation and getting-to-know activities, the first day of was filled with excitement, new friendships, and joyful anticipation. The Bible Enthronement and the procession of the Diocesan Youth Cross served as powerful reminders that Christ and His Word are at the center of our journey.

The celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by our Diocesan Youth Director, Rev. Fr. Angelito S. Arsola, centered our hearts on God and reminded us of the purpose of our gathering.
