Dear Siblings in Christ,

Greetings of Peace—peace grounded in justice and born of compassion.

As we approach Human Rights Day on December 10, our beloved church once again prepares to honor this solemn and hope-filled observance. Each year, through the ministries of Laity and Local Church Development—Justice, Peace, and Human Rights—we gather our voices, our prayers, and our actions to affirm the sacredness of every human life. This year, we look forward with renewed longing, ready to kindle once more our unwavering commitment to the dignity of all people.

With this spirit, I warmly invite you to a church-wide liturgical forum reflecting on the national situation, held in commemoration of the 77th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. On December 9, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., we will come together as one faith community—seeking wisdom, unity, and courage through prayer, reflection, and heartfelt conversation. In gathering thus, may we deepen our fellowship and strengthen our collective witness as one body of Christ.

This evening's service, as CWA Umingan takes charge of the Simbang Gabi Night 2, embraced the heartfelt theme "Jesus Calls Us to be Kind," creating a warm atmosphere of compassion and fellowship: our speaker, Sis. Marites Poserio, the Vice President of CWA Umingan, captivated everyone with her inspiring message, reminding us all of the importance of kindness in our daily lives. The night's highlight was the CWA Choir's moving rendition of "Do They See Jesus in Me," which resonated deeply with the audience and left a lasting impression. Overall, it was a night brimming with joy, reflection, and community spirit.

We are excited to announce that the UCCP Board of Christian Education and Nurture will bring back our Sunday School at UCCP Umingan!

Below are the schedules and the teaching staff for each class.

We look forward to seeing you and your children in Sunday School as we grow in faith and knowledge together.

While UCCP Umingan may have started from humble beginnings, it is amazing to see how it has brought together such a large faith community over the years. With each passing year, this church seems to not just grow older, but stronger in its outreach and more dedicated in its mission. Through all the ups and downs, God has been faithful. Nothing done in honor of His name will ever be in vain.

Today, the CWA Umingan hosted a retreat, bringing together all our wonderful members to recharge, learn, and grow. We shared our faith journeys, sang uplifting community songs, enjoyed a luncheon fellowship, and engaged in Bible study to reflect on God's word.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made this retreat an unforgettable experience. Together, we laughed, learned, and grew stronger as an organization.
