Before the games began, we first gathered in God’s presence through the Holy Mass, reminding us that every victory starts with faith. 🙏💙

Today’s reflection reminded us that true competition is not about defeating others—it’s about striving toward excellence. Our opponents are not our enemies; they challenge us, inspire us, and help us become stronger, better, and more Christ-like.

As members of the Student Catholic Action, may we compete with humility, respect, and integrity, always remembering that our greatest victory is honoring God in everything we do.

JULY 26, 2026 | 🕊️ SUNDAY MASS ⛪

Today, we gathered not for the noise of the world, but to return to the One who made us. In the Holy Eucharist, Christ reminded us that our hearts were made for Him alone. We were led in prayer by Rev. Fr. Jose Adrian Surigao. His homily called us back to our first and greatest purpose. ✝️

From the homily: 💛

“Our main purpose in life is to glorify God.
We are created by God and for God.
We are not for this world, we are for God.
A life well reflected is a life well lived.
Remain in Him.”
The world tells us to chase more. God calls us to abide more. When we live for His glory, even ordinary days become holy. 🤝

May this Mass send us forth with clarity and peace. Let us reflect Christ in our thoughts, words, and actions. In remaining in Him, we truly live. 🕊️

Lord, may our lives glorify You alone. Help us to remain in You. Amen.🙏🤍

Today's Holy Mass reminded us that no burden is too heavy when we place it in God's hands. Through our DASIG Box, each Mass attendee received a rolled motivational message—a simple yet meaningful reminder that God is always speaking to our hearts, encouraging us to keep the faith, never lose hope, and trust in His perfect plan.

May every message we received strengthen our hearts, inspire us to pray without ceasing, surrender our worries, and entrust everything to the Lord. As Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us, we are called to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and allow Him to guide our paths.

"When we surrender everything to God, He fills our hearts with peace, hope, and strength." 🙏✨

As we conclude our 1st SCA Formation – eSCAPade, we offer our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this meaningful and successful event possible.
Our sincere appreciation goes to the SPAUBI School Administrators for their unwavering support and encouragement in every SCA endeavor. We are also deeply grateful to our SCA Animator for the guidance and inspiration extended to our young SCAns.
A special thank you to our dedicated facilitators—Ate Mary Louraine Asas, Ate Ma. Flor Lomod, and Kuya Luis Vincent Decipolo—for generously sharing your time, knowledge, and passion in forming our young leaders. Your commitment has truly inspired our participants. eSCAPade serves as the introductory stage of the Student Catholic Action formation journey, inviting young people to deepen their faith and commitment to service.

In the sixth session of the eSCAPADE Formation, our participants learned the Student Catholic Action (SCA) Theme Song. More than just a melody, its lyrics reflect the identity, mission, and commitment of every SCA member—to faithfully serve Christ, love the Church, and become instruments of hope in the world.

As the participants sang together, they were reminded that every word of the theme song is a prayer and a promise to live out the values of Student Catholic Action with courage, joy, and unwavering faith.

In the fifth session of the eSCAPADE Formation, our participants discovered who can become a member of the Student Catholic Action (SCA). They learned that SCA welcomes students who desire to deepen their relationship with Christ, actively participate in the life of the Church, and serve others with love, humility, and dedication.

More than an organization, SCA is a family of young people united by faith, inspiring one another to become Christ-centered leaders and compassionate servants in their schools, parishes, and communities. Every member is invited to grow spiritually, lead by example, and be a beacon of hope to others.

In the fourth session of the eSCAPADE Formation, our participants explored the Techniques in Student Catholic Action (SCA)—practical ways of carrying out the mission of SCA through observation, reflection, planning, and action. They learned that every activity, outreach, and service begins with a heart that listens, a mind that discerns, and hands that are ready to serve.

This session reminded our young leaders that true Catholic Action is not only about participating in programs but also about becoming active witnesses of Christ in their homes, schools, parishes, and communities. By applying these techniques, they are empowered to respond to the needs of others with compassion, wisdom, and a spirit of service.

The session also emphasized that every position in SCA is not merely a title, but a calling to serve with humility, integrity, and dedication. Each member has an important role in building a vibrant and faith-filled community where everyone grows together in Christ.

During the second session of the eSCAPADE Formation, our participants explored the Brief History of Student Catholic Action (SCA). They learned how SCA has grown into a vibrant movement that has formed generations of young Catholics to become Christ-centered leaders, committed servants, and faithful witnesses in their schools, parishes, and communities.

By understanding the rich heritage of SCA, our young members were inspired to continue the mission entrusted to them—living their faith with courage, serving others with humility, and becoming true instruments of Christ's love.
