| In sacred remembrance of the servant of God, Fr. Rhoel Gallardo, CMF, on the 26th anniversary of his martyrdom, the San Roque Parish Tungawan Youth Ministry gathered in virtual prayer to offer the Holy Rosary, lifting our hearts to God in gratitude for his faithful witness and heroic sacrifice.
May the light of his steadfast faith and the grace of his martyrdom continue to illumine our path, that we too may follow Christ with courage, humility, and unwavering devotion.
THE GLORIOUS MYSTERIES OF THE HOLY ROSARY
1st Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection
The Resurrection reminds us that love is stronger than death. Like Christ, Fr. Rhoelโs life was taken by violence, yet his faith and witness continue to rise in the hearts of those he served. His martyrdom is not the end, but a seed of hope for the Church.
Prayer:
Lord, through the Resurrection, strengthen our faith. May the life and sacrifice of Fr. Rhoel inspire us to remain steadfast in times of fear and suffering. Grant us courage to choose love over hatred. Amen.
2nd Glorious Mystery: The Ascension
Jesus ascended to heaven but entrusted His mission to us. Fr. Rhoel lived this mission fullyโserving the poor, guiding the youth, and standing firm in faith even unto death. His life calls us to continue what Christ has begun.
Prayer:
Lord, as You ascended, You called us to be Your witnesses. Through the example of Fr. Rhoel, help us embrace our mission with zeal and dedication. May we serve with humility and courage. Amen.
3rd Glorious Mystery: The Descent of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit gives strength in moments of trial. Fr. Rhoel, filled with this Spirit, remained faithful even in captivity. His bravery reflects a heart on fire with Godโs love.
Prayer:
Come, Holy Spirit, fill us with the same courage You gave Fr. Rhoel. Strengthen us to stand for truth, to protect the vulnerable, and to be instruments of peace in a broken world. Amen.
4th Glorious Mystery: The Assumption of Mary
Maryโs Assumption is a promise of eternal life. We believe that those who remain faithful, like Fr. Rhoel, are welcomed into Godโs glory. His sacrifice leads him to the embrace of the Father.
Prayer:
Lord, through Maryโs Assumption, remind us of our heavenly destiny. May the martyrdom of Fr. Rhoel deepen our hope in eternal life and inspire us to live holy and faithful lives. Amen.
5th Glorious Mystery: The Coronation of Mary
Mary is crowned Queen of Heaven because of her faithfulness. Fr. Rhoel, too, shares in the victory of Christ. His life of service and sacrifice is a crown of glory that reflects Godโs love.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, as Mary is crowned in glory, we entrust to You the soul of Fr. Rhoel. May his witness guide us to live lives of service, love, and sacrifice. Help us become faithful disciples, ready to give all for You. Amen.
