AUGUST 2026— BREAKTHROUGH THAT EMPOWERS

"Correction leads to Connection with God."

Message:
2 Chronicles 33;1-3
1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-five years. 2 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, following the detestable practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israelites.

3 He rebuilt the high places his father Hezekiah had demolished; he also erected altars to the Baals and made Asherah poles. He bowed down to all the starry hosts and worshipped them.

Why God corrects us? 2 Chronicles 33:10-16

1. God correct us when we IGNORE Him (verse 10)

Correction does not mean that God hares you. God's PURPOSE in correction is not to cut you off nor reject you, but to RECONNECT you to Him.

Correction is not REJECTION it is God's
INVITATION to connection.

The more you IGNORE the voice of God the Deeper the disconnection you will

experience. Proverbs 3:11-12

2. Correction bring us to HUMILITY. (verses 11-12)

Correction is the CLASSROOM of humility. Proverbs 12:1

In every correction, there is always an invitation from the Lord to draw near to Him.

James 4:10

3 Correction opens the door for RESTORATION (verse 13)

Correction becomes restoration when your RESPOND with repentance. The God who corrected you is the same God who will RESTORE you.

The God whom we FEAR might punish you is the very same God who will FORGIVE and CLEANSE you. 1 John 1:9 God's correction may hurt you for a MOMENT, but His restoration may LASTS for a lifetime.

4. Stay connected after correction. (verses 15-16)

Conclusion: Colossians 2:6-7

Even when the Lord BRINGS correction, pruning, or remove things from your life, none of those MATTERS if you have a deep relationship with God.

Correction WITHOUT connection is just an
Emotion.

Do not have a reason to stop following God, but have a reason to keep going for God.

•Sustains the work of the Spirit: Wholehearted obedience sustains God's work in the Church.

Breakthrough Discipline empowers believers to walk consistently in God's will, unleashing His power and sustaining revival in every area of life.

God's breakthrough doesn't come through panic, passivity, or striving. It comes through Spirit-empowered discipline.

Challenge:
Ask yourself: Which of the 3 do I need most right now?
- Power ? Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you again.

- Love? Ask God to pour His love through you. Rom 5:5
- Self-Control? Ask for grace to train your daily choices. Titus 2:12

The breakthrough you’re praying for is often on the other side of Spirit-led discipline.

Believers may have different gifts and personalities but must SHARE the same COMMITMENT to Christ. Philippians 2:2

B. Show COMPASSION
Christians should feel the bURDENS of fellow believers.

C. LOVE One Another as FAMILY
Genuine love goes beyond emotion into sacrificial action. John 13:35

D. Be TENDERHEARTED and HUMBLE
•Tenderhearted people forgive QUICKLY, humble people put others before Themselves.

II. The Response God Requires Toward Our Enemies (verse 9)

A. REJECT the World's WAY
B. RETURN Blessing Instead of REVENGE
C. REMEMBER Your CALLING

III. The Conduct That Pleases God (verses.10-11)

Believers glorify God by demonstrating Christlike character and developing PATIENCE in their relationships, their response to suffering, and their daily conduct, trusting that the Lord sees, hears, and blesses those who walk in Righteousness.

1 Kings 18:41 This verse called expectation And Elijah said to Ahab, "Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain."

Three steps to achieve God's plan in our life
1. Acceptance
2. Expectations
Acceptance of the will of God will lead us to Expectation
3. Manifestation

What is Perseverance?
Perseverance is the steadfast obstacle continued effort to achieve a goal, overcome an or complete a tour despite difficulties, setbacks discouragement. It represents mental toughness and the refusal when faced with adversity.

The bible said don't walk by sight but walk by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7)

Faith is not seeing through your eyes but seeing through your spirit When Elijah said I can hear the sound of a heavy rain, he is speaking about believe that there is a coming rain. The Expectation is the product of his Faith.

Kinds of Perseverance that we need

1. Perseverance of Prayer (1 Kings 18:42)
2. Perseverance of Faith (1 Kings 18:43)
3. Perseverance of Obedience
4. Perseverance of Action
(2 Kings 5:9-12; Joshua 6:3-4)

God wants our inner self to be set right or transformed before our outward appearance is put in order. During our persevering moment God is busy doing something in our inside-out.

God wants to bless us from the inside out.

"PRAYER."

Prayer is the breath of our spiritual life.
Can you imagine a prayerless Christian? Why people become prayerless?

It is because prayer for many people is just a spiritual information.

It has never become a spiritual revelation.
Revelation means unveiling something to your heart and to your spirit.

Mark 6:4–6
Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.” He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. He was amazed at their lack of faith.

Napa-bilib mo na ba si Lord sa faith mo?
When we release faith,
God's power is also released.

James 1:6
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

Prayer requires faith.
Prayer works with faith.

James 1:7
That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
Pray, believe, and expect!
