John 20:19-23. “It was late that Sunday evening, and the disciples were gathered together behind locked doors, because they were afraid of the Jewish authorities. Then Jesus came and stood among them. ‘Peace be with you,’ he said. After saying this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were filled with joy at seeing the Lord…” Just as the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and received peace, when we allow God to enter the locked rooms of our fears, bitterness, and anxieties, His peace slowly transforms us. As we celebrate the Pentecost Sunday, may the Holy Spirit teaches us to forgive instead of hate, to unite instead of divide, and to heal instead of wound. A world longing for peace needs people whose hearts are guided by the Holy Spirit. Peace begins within each person and having peaceful heart can become a light in a troubled world. A blessed celebration of the Pentecost Sunday dear Kalakbays! 😇😇😇

John 21:20-25. “Peter turned round and saw behind him that other disciple, whom Jesus loved – the one who had leaned close to Jesus at the meal and had asked, ‘Lord, who is going to betray you?’ When Peter saw him, he asked Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?’…” Peter’s question in today’s gospel reflects a struggle common to us nowadays. We are curious about others and we compete, but Jesus teaches that discipleship is not a competition. The true focus should not be “What about us?” but “How to serve God through our neighbors?” Nations compete for power, businesses compete for wealth, and people compete for attention. A better society begins when people stop trying to outshine one another and instead focus on serving with sincerity. A blessed Saturday evening dear Kalakbays! 😇😇😇

John 21:15-19 “…He said to him the third time, ‘Simon, son of John, do you love me?’ Peter was distressed that he had said to him a third time, ‘Do you love me?’ and he said to him, ‘Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Feed my sheep.’…” Peter could have been annoyed being asked for three times in today’s gospel. The same is true to us too. Jesus continues to ask about love and commitment. Our answer is not proven by words alone, but by the way we live each day. Loving God is not only about prayers, thoughts, and words. It must be expressed through caring for others, encouraging the weak, feeding the hungry, guiding the lost, and protecting those entrusted to us. Real faith becomes visible through compassion and service. A blessed Friday dear Kalakbays! 😇😇😇

John 17:20-26 “…That they all may be one, as you, Father, in me, and I in you; that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you have sent me…” Jesus prayer in today’s gospel is for everyone to be united with Him and our Father. Marked by division, hatred, and misunderstanding, our society needs healing. He reminds us that true strength is found not in pride but in unity rooted in love. Unity does not mean everyone is the same, but it means choosing respect, compassion, forgiveness, and understanding despite differences. Our mission towards better society becomes stronger when we work together with mutual respect and shared purpose. A united community becomes a light in a dark world and a source of hope for those searching for meaning. May we never forget that the greatest testimony of faith is not merely what we say, but how deeply we love one another. A blessed Thursday dear Kalakbays!😇😇😇

John 17:11B-19. “…Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world. And for them do I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.” The same prayer is extend to us too as Jesus prayed for His followers would be sanctified in truth in today’s gospel. In a time when lies, corruption, and deception are now common, truth becomes a powerful witness. Being truthful is more than avoiding lies and partisan. It means choosing what is right even when it is difficult or unpopular. May remain united, protected in truth, filled with joy, and dedicated to divine mission. A blessed Wednesday dear Kalakbays! 😇😇😇

John 17:1-11A. “…I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them whom you have given me: because they are yours.” We see Jesus in today’s gospel praying for His disciples. In a world filled with division, anger, competition, and misunderstanding, this message becomes even more important. Relationships are broken by pride, selfishness, hatred and judgment. The same call for us to become instruments of peace and reconciliation. Unity does not mean that everyone will always agree, but it means choosing love over division and understanding over resentment. Lasting peace will never come from hatred or selfish ambition, but from hearts transformed by divine love. A blessed Tuesday dear Kalakbays!😇😇😇

John 16:29-33. “…These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you shall have distress: but have confidence, I have overcome the world.” Today, we struggle with division, greed, violence, and injustice. We feel hopeless as we witness hatred growing in communities and even within families. The message of the Lord remains powerful and relevant. Darkness will never have the final word. Love is still stronger than hatred. Faith is still stronger than fear. Fear and confusion scatters us but divine peace gives us courage to hope. A blessed Monday and week ahead dear Kalakbays. 😇😇😇

Matthew 28:16-20. “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” The same command is given to us too in today’s gospel, to bring the light of God’s love to every nation and every generation. This is not only done from missionary journeys but it begins in our everyday life. At times the most powerful preaching happens not through speeches but through compassion, humility, integrity, and love. Evangelization today calls us to become bridges of healing in divided families, societies, and nations. A blessed Ascension Sunday dear Kalakbays! 😇😇😇

John 16:23B-28. “Jesus said to his disciples: Amen, amen I say to you: if you ask the Father anything in my name, he will give it to you. Until now you have not asked anything in my name; Ask, and you shall receive; that your joy may be full….” Jesus in today’s gospel calls us for a deeper relationship to God through prayer. Prayer is not about finding the perfect words but about opening the heart honestly before God. Sometimes the most sincere prayer is a silent cry, a weary sigh, or a whispered plea for strength. When we pray with faith and live with confidence in divine care, our hearts slowly discover the joy and peace that only the One can give. A blessed Saturday and weekend ahead dear Kalakbays! 😇😇😇

John 16:20-23. “Jesus said to his disciples: Amen, amen I say to you, that you shall lament and weep, but the world shall rejoice; and you shall be made sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy…” Life often brings seasons of struggle, loss, uncertainty, or waiting, but today’s gospel reminds us that sorrow is not always the final chapter. We suffer from division, violence, injustice, and uncertainty about the future. In the midst of such darkness, God offers a hope that is not shallow or temporary. God sees every silent battle, every hidden sacrifice, and every prayer whispered. Fight a good fight of faith! Pain does not have the final word. A blessed Friday dear Kalakbays! 😇😇😇

John 15:9-17. “..This I command you: love one another.” The gospel today ends with this passage to love one another. In a world where selfishness, division, and hatred continue to grow, this message becomes urgent. While we say, we love our country, love is not just a feeling but a mission. The world does not simply need more power, wealth, or influence. It needs hearts transformed by truth and genuine love proven through sacrifice and service to all. A blessed Thursday dear Kalakbays! ❤️❤️❤️
