May 1 has arrived, opening the door to a beautiful and grace-filled Month of Mary. In a special way, we place these days under the loving care of the Blessed Virgin Mary—our Mother who never grows weary of praying for her children. As we begin this sacred month, we are reminded that she walks beside us, not from afar, but closely, gently guiding us toward her Son, Jesus Christ.

This season invites us to pause and refocus on what truly matters: prayer, trust, and a heart open to God’s will. Like Mary, who humbly embraced her calling with a faithful “yes,” we are encouraged to surrender our worries, fears, and plans to the Lord. In times when life feels overwhelming or uncertain, Mary becomes our refuge—one who understands, listens, and faithfully brings our prayers to Jesus.

May is also a time for simple yet meaningful acts of devotion. Through the Rosary, we reflect on the life of Christ with Mary at our side. Through traditions like Flores de Mayo, we offer not only flowers, but also our sacrifices, gratitude, and love. Every small act becomes a fragrant offering—pleasing to God and comforting to our hearts.

As we journey through this Month of Mary, may her intercession bring healing where there is pain, clarity where there is confusion, and hope where there is discouragement. May she watch over our families, strengthen our faith, and guide us each day. Above all, may she always lead us closer to Jesus, where true peace and lasting joy are found.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary continue to intercede for us throughout this Month of May—now and always. 🙏🌸

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6

Easter Sunday proclaims the resurrection of Christ—the victory of life over death, light over darkness, and hope over despair. The empty tomb is a sign that God’s promises are fulfilled.

This is the foundation of our faith: that love conquers all. We are called to live as people of the Resurrection, renewed in faith, joy, and purpose.

“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage.” — Psalm 27:14

Black Saturday is a day of silence and waiting. Christ lies in the tomb, and the world seems still. Yet even in this quiet, God is at work, preparing for the triumph of life over death.

In moments when God feels distant, we are called to remain in hope. Faith endures not only in clarity, but also in trust through the silence.

“It is finished.” — John 19:30

Good Friday is the solemn remembrance of Christ’s passion and death on the cross. In His suffering, we see the fullness of divine love—willing to endure pain for the sake of our redemption.

The cross is not defeat, but victory through sacrifice. In our own trials, we are invited to unite our sufferings with His, trusting that love will have the final word.

Join us in a moment of prayerful listening and reflection through the “Pasyon ni Yafu tam á Jesucristo – Jueves Santo,” an Ibanag tradition from Tuguegarao City, faithfully passed on and heard during Holy Week.

May its verses lead us to contemplate the passion, suffering, and boundless love of Christ.

“I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you.”
— John 13:15

Holy Thursday brings us to the Last Supper, where Christ reveals the depth of His love through service and sacrifice. In washing the feet of His disciples, He teaches that greatness is found in humility and love in action.

He offers Himself in the Eucharist, inviting us into a covenant of self-giving love. To follow Him is to serve, to give, and to love without condition.

Let us come together in prayerful silence as we listen to the “Pasyon ni Yafu tam á Jesucristo – Miyércoles Santo,” an Ibanag tradition from Tuguegarao City.
Through its verses, may we reflect deeply on Christ’s passion, His suffering, and His unfailing love.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” — Psalm 139:23

Holy Wednesday invites us to reflect on betrayal and devotion. As Judas chooses to turn away from Christ, we are reminded of the silent choices we make each day—either drawing closer to the Lord or drifting away from Him.

Even in moments of weakness, God calls us back to fidelity. True love for Christ is not proven in words alone, but in a heart that remains faithful even when it is difficult.

VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS | Palm Sunday Mass

Palm Sunday reminds us that welcoming Jesus is not only about raising palms, but about surrendering our hearts and committing our lives to Him. As we begin this Holy Week, we are invited to remain faithful not only in moments of joy but also when Christ calls us to sacrifice and carry the cross. May our palms today be more than tradition — may they be our promise to follow Jesus as King in every moment of our lives. Hosanna in the highest, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.
