Sa lahat ng mga dumalo at nakiisa sa Parish Youth Day 2026, taos-puso kaming nagpapasalamat sa inyong pakikiisa, sigla, at pananampalataya na ibinahagi ninyo sa Parish Youth Day 2026. Dahil sa inyo, naging makabuluhan, masaya, at puno ng biyaya ang pagdiriwang na ito.

🎉 Congratulations sa inyong lahat! Hindi lamang kayo naging participants, kayo ay naging tunay na saksi ng pananampalataya sa bawat ngiti, kilos, at pakikipagkapwa.
Nawa’y dalhin ninyo ang apoy ng misyon saan man kayo dalhin, at patuloy na maging liwanag at pag-asa sa iba.

Mabuhay ang kabataang lingkod ng simbahan!

PYD Amazing Race✨

Isang araw na puno ng takbo, sigawan, tawanan, at walang sawang teamwork! Hindi lang ito simpleng race—ito ay laban ng diskarte, lakas, tiyaga, at higit sa lahat, tiwala sa isa’t isa.

From start to finish, puno ng tawanan, sigawan, at unforgettable moments na talaga namang nagpasiklab ng energy ng bawat isa!

At sa dulo ng lahat, hindi lang medalya o panalo ang dala natin… kundi mga alaalang hindi malilimutan at samahang mas pinatatag ng karanasan.

We didn’t just race… we built memories, strengthened bonds, and conquered together!

Isang araw na punong-puno ng kabataan, sigla, at pananampalataya—Parish Youth Day 2026 was more than celebrated, it was lived.

Mula sa iba’t ibang lugar, iba’t ibang kwento, pero iisang vibe: nagtipon, nakiisa, at sabay-sabay nag-alab ang pananampalataya! 🙌✨
“Be with me, be my witness…” (John 15:27) — hindi lang narinig, kundi ramdam sa bawat galaw, bawat ngiti, at bawat sigaw ng puso! Hindi lang tayo nag-enjoy… WE connected, WE grew, WE got fired up for Him!

At ngayong tapos na ang PYD… akala mo ba yun na ‘yon? 👀

APRIL 21 | FIRST DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF POPE FRANCIS

Today, we honor the first death anniversary of Pope Francis, who passed on April 21, 2025. For 12 years, he led the Church with humility, compassion, and mercy.

May his legacy of love, service, and faith continue to guide us.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.

HOMILY BITS | DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that we must believe in order to truly see. This is shown in the story of Thomas, often called the doubting one, who said, “To see is to believe.” Yet Jesus turns this around: “Believe, and you shall see.”

As Fr. Bernice reminds us, “Diak kita, diak pati.” We often demand evidence before trust. Yet faith, in its essence, is not the conclusion of seeing, but the beginning of it.

Fr. Bernice also reminds us:
“Kahit gaano kadaming blessing ang ibigay ng Diyos sa iyo, kung wala kang pananampalataya, hindi mo makikita na galing iyon sa Panginoon.”

He adds that in today’s society, we have learned to bargain with God. We often say:
“Lord, payamanin mo ako - kapag yumaman ako, maniniwala ako.”
“Lord, pagalingin mo ako- kapag wala na akong sakit, saka ako maniniwala.”

For it is through faith that we truly see, for as the Lord Himself declares: “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
