Today, April 10, is the 113th Anniversary of the Er****on of the See of Tuguegarao.

We thank the Lord for giving us Good Shepherds who along the years have faithfully taught and confirmed the faith of the Cagayanos. We pray in a special way Most. Rev. Ricardo Lingan Baccay, our Archbishop of Tuguegarao, who celebrates today his Presbyteral and Episcopal Anniversary.

As we celebrate the feast of the Infant Jesus, let us remember the child-like faith in us. Who’s always obedient to what has been told for us to do.

Christmas came early for AOP🎄✨

After their first friday devotion mass, AOP’s celebrated their Christmas Party Celebration at the Cathedral Gym.

After 2 years, nothing brought joy to our senior AOP to have their Christmas party again. The program had their talents shown, played parlor games and exchanges gift.

FRIDAY AT ITS FINEST!

First Friday Mass Devotion ❤️‍🔥| Feast of Our Lady of Rosary 🙏

Apostleship of Prayer held their First Friday Mass today and in celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary. After which, they held their meeting.

Rev.Fr. Francis Miguel- AOPs Spiritual Director- gave a speech reminding everyone the importance of praying the Rosary.

MARY, IMMACULATE STAR OF THE MORNING!

Today, October 7, we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. We honor the Blessed Mother in gratitude for her intercession to her devotes and the universal church.

OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY, PRAY FOR US!

“According to pious tradition, the idea of the Rosary was given to Saint Dominic when the Virgin Mary appeared to him in an apparition in the year 1214. This Marian apparition is given the title of Our Lady of the Rosary. The Dominican priest and theologian Alanus de Rupe promoted the practice of the Rosary by establishing the “fifteen rosary promises” and founding several rosary confraternities.”

VIVA LA NIÑA MARIA!

Blessed be Mary and her Immaculate Conception!

The feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on September 8 comes exactly nine months after the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on December 8. It is because of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s holiness in the womb that the Church celebrates her birthday in its liturgy. The only other nativity of a saint celebrated liturgically is that of St. John the Baptist who was sanctified in the womb when he stirred at the presence of the unborn baby Jesus within Mary.

The Blessed Virgin Mary was preserved from Original Sin from the very moment of her conception and persevered throughout her life without personal sin. While Pope Pius IX officially pronounced this as a dogma of the Church in 1854, it was held from early times.

First Friday of the First Ber Month!

AOP attended their monthly First Friday Mass Devotion. Right after their mass, Rev.Fr. Francis Miguel -the spirtual director- also a gave a talk emphasizing on the celebration of the Solemnity of the Nativity of Mary this coming September 8.

As we welcome the first month in “Ber months”,
Let us join our Holy Father, Pope Francis to pray for the Papal Intention for September. We pray for the Abolition of Death Penalty.

Let us pray;

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I
offer you my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of
this day, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
throughout the world. I offer them the intentions of
your Sacred Heart: the salvation of souls, reparation
for sin, the reunion of all Christians. I offer them
for the intentions of our Bishops, the clergy and
all the apostles of prayer and in particular,
for
the intentions of the Holy Father for the month
of _____( intention for the month)

HAPPY FIESTA TUGUEGARAO CITY!🎉
HAPPY FEAST DAY SAN JACINTO DE POLONIA!

Earlier today, Apostleship of Prayer- Tuguegarao Chapter joined the patronal fiesta mass at Ermita de San Jacinto.

The mass was presided by His Excellency Ricardo Baccay - the archbishop of Tuguegarao- and concelebrated with the priests of the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao.

The mass was also attended by Mayor Maila Ting Que- the mayor of Tuguegarao- together with Vice Mayor Ben-Ben and other LGU leaders of the City.
