With hearts full of faith and gratitude, the Youth Delegates of St. Dominic de Guzman Parish embark on their journey to Nannarian, Peñablanca, Cagayan for the 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 (𝗔𝗬𝗚𝗔) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. May this sacred gathering deepen their faith, strengthen their commitment to Christ, and inspire them to serve the Church with renewed zeal.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Council of Barangay Cataggaman Viejo, headed by Hon. Gil Tumbali, for their generous support, and to Hon. Erwin Pagulayan, who personally drove our delegates safely to their destination. May the Lord bless your kindness and generosity abundantly.

Today we celebrate the Feast of 𝐒𝐭. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞, a faithful friend who remained close to Jesus even in His darkest hour. Her life reminds us that no past is too great for God's mercy and that every person can be transformed through faith and love. May her courage and unwavering devotion inspire us to follow Christ with hope, compassion, and a faithful heart.

𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗢𝗞 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗦 | 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

“Let them grow together until harvest.” — Mt. 13:30

In today’s Gospel (Mt. 13:24–43), Jesus reminds us to trust in God’s perfect timing. Like the wheat and the weeds growing together, we are called to remain faithful, patient, and steadfast, allowing God to bring about His justice and goodness in His own time.

With grateful hearts, we celebrated the Purok Mass at Cataggaman Nuevo led by Rev. Fr. Domingo Langcay.

May the Lord continue to bless the community with abundant grace.

First Custodian of the Sacred Image of Christ

Saint Veronica is remembered for her compassionate act of wiping the face of Jesus as He carried His Cross to Calvary. By this humble gesture of mercy, the miraculous image of Christ's Holy Face was imprinted upon her veil, making her the first custodian of the Sacred Image and a lasting example of courageous love and faithful service.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮

O my Jesus, Saint Veronica lovingly served You on the road to Calvary by wiping Your sacred face. In return, You left the image of Your Holy Face upon her veil, a sign of Your love and mercy.

Through her intercession, grant me the grace to recognize Your face in every person I meet, especially those who are suffering, forgotten, and in need of compassion. Teach me to accompany them in their struggles, to comfort the weary, to heal wounds with kindness, and to serve them with a generous heart.

May I always remember that whatever I do for the least of my brothers and sisters, I also do for You.

Amen.

𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 | 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Today, the children reflected on the Gospel, which reminds us to remain faithful to Christ and to share His peace, love, and Good News with others. They were encouraged to live out their faith through kindness, trust in God, and service to one another.

Our heartfelt thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Mark Gil Bucayu for generously providing snacks for the children.

Last Saturday, July 4, the Catechists of St. Dominic de Guzman Parish gathered for a fruitful meeting to share their experiences, reflect on their ministry, and prepare for the opening of catechetical instruction in our schools.

The gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen our commitment to the mission of Catholic education. For the Secondary level, Ma’am Cora Camayo presented important guidelines on keeping our catechetical instruction aligned with the ESP Curriculum Guide, as stipulated in the Approved Request for the Conduct of Catechetical Instruction. For the Elementary level, the catechists agreed to use the Learning Exemplars, recognizing that each unit may take about a month to complete to accommodate the learners’ pace and ensure deeper understanding.

The group also proposed holding regular meetings every first Saturday of the month to foster ongoing formation, collaboration, and mutual support among the catechists.

𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗟𝗔𝗗𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗜𝗔𝗧

With hearts united in prayer, the faithful joined the solemn procession in honor of Our Lady of the Visitation of Piat, joyfully celebrating her feast day. This sacred tradition reminds us of Mary’s loving visit to her cousin Elizabeth a beautiful encounter of faith, humility, and service that brought Christ’s presence to others.

The procession was followed by the Holy Mass, the highest form of worship and thanksgiving, where the community gathered as one to honor our Blessed Mother and deepen our devotion to her Son, Jesus Christ.

May Our Lady of the Visitation of Piat continue to guide our families, strengthen our faith, and lead us ever closer to Christ.

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. 📿

𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗧, 𝗬𝗘𝗡𝗔 𝗡𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡, 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗘𝗗𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗨𝗦!

Today, we joyfully celebrate the 𝙁𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙇𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙞𝙖𝙩, the beloved 𝘔𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯 and one of the Philippines’ most cherished Marian devotions. For more than four centuries, pilgrims have journeyed to her shrine in Piat, seeking her maternal intercession, offering prayers of thanksgiving, and finding strength, hope, and peace through her guidance.

Her enduring presence reminds us that Mary always leads us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. As generations of faithful continue to honor her with love and devotion, may we also renew our trust in God and faithfully live out the Gospel each day.
