INVITATION | WELCOMING OF THE RELIC OF ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI

The St. Peter Metropolitan Cathedral warmly invites everyone to the welcoming of the Nationwide Pilgrimage of the Relic of St. Francis of Assisi on August 1.

Join us at 5:00 PM for the Welcome Rite, followed by the 5:15 PM Eucharistic Celebration. After the Eucharistic Celebration, it will followed by the Veneration of the Holy Relic.

Then, the relic will be transferred in procession will be enshrined at the Poor Clare Monastery of the Eucharistic Lord.

As we prepare for the Feast of Saint Peter the Apostle, the SPCYM invites the youth to gather in prayer and reflection, following the example of the one whom Christ called to be the rock of His Church.
Though Peter experienced moments of weakness, doubt, and fear, he trusted in the Lord's mercy and answered the call to discipleship with courage and love. His life reminds us that holiness is not found in perfection, but in continually returning to Christ and placing our trust in Him.
On June 26, 2026 at 6:00 PM, at St. Peter Metropolitan Cathedral, come and set aside the noise of the world. Bring your prayers, your hopes, your struggles, and your gratitude, and allow the Lord to speak to your heart in the stillness.
Come, let us gather in prayer and quiet reflection. As Saint Peter followed Christ with a faithful heart, may we too be strengthened to answer God's call in our lives.
