PRAYER FOR PRIESTS
Gracious and loving God, we thank you for the gift of our priests.
Through them, we experience your presence in the sacraments.
Help our priests to be strong in their vocation.
Set their souls on fire with love for your people.
Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.

Inspire them with the vision of your Kingdom.
Give them the words they need to spread the Gospel.
Allow them to experience joy in their ministry.
Help them to become instruments of your divine grace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns as our Eternal Priest.
Amen.

𝗔𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗟 𝟮𝟵 | 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗣𝗘𝗗𝗥𝗢 𝗗𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗬𝗥

April 29, we celebrate the glorious feast of San Pedro de Martyr, a faithful servant of God whose life became a powerful testimony of truth, courage, and unwavering devotion. From his early years, he chose to stand firm in the Catholic faith despite the challenges around him, and as he grew, he dedicated his life to preaching the Gospel with clarity, wisdom, and boldness.

As a Dominican priest, he became a fearless defender of the truth, guiding many back to the light of Christ through his words and example. He did not allow fear, opposition, or persecution to silence him. Instead, he remained steadfast, proclaiming the Word of God even when it cost him everything. His martyrdom is not only a story of suffering, but a victory of faith—a reminder that no sacrifice is greater than giving one’s life for the truth.

The image of him holding the cross and the Scriptures reflects his mission: to live and preach Christ crucified, to stand firm in faith, and to bring others closer to God. Even in his final moments, his heart remained fixed on the Lord, showing us what it truly means to love God above all.

Today, his life challenges us to reflect. In a world where truth is often questioned and faith is sometimes set aside, are we willing to stand firm? Do we have the courage to live out our beliefs, not only in words but in actions? Like him, may we be instruments of truth, guided not by fear but by faith.

On this special day, we also lift in prayer all those who are called to proclaim the truth—journalists, writers, and all who use their voice to inform, inspire, and lead others. May they be guided by integrity, wisdom, and courage, following the example of this great saint.

Through the intercession of San Pedro de Martyr, may we grow stronger in faith, deeper in love, and bolder in witnessing to the truth of Christ in our daily lives.

In humble reverence and deep faith, we invite everyone to join the Solemn Procession in honor of San Pedro De Martyr this 6:00 in the evening around Brgy. Libag Norte.

As we walk through the familiar roads of our community, we are not just participating in a tradition but in a living prayer. Each step becomes an offering, each silence a reflection, and each candlelight a reminder of the unwavering faith that guided the life and martyrdom of San Pedro de Mártyr.

This procession is a moment for us to pause from the noise of daily life and to unite as one community of believers. We carry not only the image of our patron saint but also our intentions, thanksgiving, and prayers for our families, our youth, and our parish.

May this sacred journey deepen our devotion and strengthen our faith, as we remember the courage and holiness of San Pedro De Martyr who stood firm in truth until the end. Let us walk together in prayerful silence, in unity, and in love for God.

On behalf of the San Pedro de Martyr Youth Ministry, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended and joined the Taizé prayer in honor of San Pedro de Martyr and Santa Ines de Roma.

In the quiet stillness of that evening, we gathered as one community, united in prayer and reflection. It was a moment where silence became meaningful, where music touched the soul, and where the gentle glow of candlelight reminded us of God’s presence in our lives. In a world full of noise and distractions, that night became a sacred pause a time to breathe, to listen, and to simply be with God.

Through the simple chants and moments of silence, we were invited to open our hearts more deeply. We lifted our prayers, our intentions, our struggles, and our hopes, trusting that God hears even the quietest whispers within us. It was in that calm and peaceful atmosphere that many of us found comfort, clarity, and renewal.

As we honored the lives of San Pedro de Martyr and Santa Ines de Roma, we were reminded of their courage, purity, and unwavering faith. Their witness continues to inspire us to stand firm in our beliefs and to live a life rooted in love and devotion to God.

We sincerely thank each and every one of you for your presence. Your participation made the Taizé more meaningful and truly alive with faith. You were not just attendees, but part of a praying community that chose to come together in silence, humility, and trust in God.

As we reach the eighth day of our novena, we are reminded of the courage and unwavering faith of San Pedro de Martyr. In the midst of trials and challenges, he stood firm in the truth and remained faithful to God until the end.

May his life inspire us to be brave in defending our faith, steadfast in our beliefs, and humble in serving others. As we continue this journey of prayer, may our hearts be strengthened and our trust in God deepen each day.

Let us offer our intentions with hope, believing that through his intercession, God listens and answers according to His perfect will.

In a world filled with doubts and challenges, may we learn to hold on to our beliefs with unwavering trust in God. Like San Pedro, may we become witnesses of faith not only in words but in the way we live, serve, and love others each day.

In the midst of our busy lives and restless hearts, we are gently invited to pause and enter into a moment of peace. The Taizé Vigil is more than a gathering — it is a sacred encounter where silence speaks, music heals, and prayer restores.

As we honor Saint Peter of Verona, a witness of truth and courage, and Saint Agnes of Rome, a symbol of purity and unwavering faith, we are reminded that their light continues to guide us closer to Christ.

On April 27, 2026 at 5 PM, at San Pedro Martyr Chapel Libag Norte, come and lay down your worries, your burdens, and your noise. Allow yourself to be embraced by the stillness, to be renewed by prayer, and to be comforted by God’s quiet presence.

Come and rest.
Come and be still.
Come and dwell in the light of the saints.
