SAINT OF THE DAY | Passion, Death & Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Today, Ash Wednesday, we commemorate and honor one of the titles of Mary, Our Lady of Sorrows.

She stands with us at the heart of Christ's passion. A mother whose faith, compassion, and steadfast endurance point us toward repentance and true love.

As we receive ashes and begin Lent, let us emulate her deeds in prayer, fasting, and acts of mercy, drawing us closer to the cross and to the hope of the resurrection

We often see "rules" or "laws" as things that restrict our freedom. But in any meaningful relationship—whether it’s family, friendship, or a career—the "rules" are actually there to protect the bond.

Father Leif said, the Lord’s laws are not burdens. They are wisdom. Hindi ito pabigat — ito ang gabay kung paano magmahal nang tama.
Respect teaches us to value one another. Faithfulness teaches us to stay and forgive.�Sincerity teaches us to be true and trustworthy.

We obey God not because we are afraid of punishment, we obey because we desire communion. In the end, all God’s laws can be summarized in one word: Love.
Kung may respeto, may pag-ibig.�Kung may katapatan, may pag-ibig. Kung may sinseridad, may pag-ibig.

FEBRUARY 11 | OUR LADY OF LOURDES

The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes reminds us that Mary cares for those who are suffering and calls us to prayer, repentance, and trust in God. Her appearance to the humble Saint Bernadette teaches that God works through simple and faithful hearts. Lourdes symbolizes healing, not only physically but also spiritually, giving people peace and stronger faith. Through Our Lady of Lourdes, we are encouraged to seek comfort, hope, and deeper trust in God.

Our Lady of Lourdes, The feast day of Mary under this tittle is celebrated every 11th of February, it is also WORLD DAY OF THE SICK.

We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. There will be a Holy Mass with Anointing of the Sick .

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: There will be only two Masses in the morning and one in the afternoon in view of the Anointing of the Sick.

Please be guided accordingly.

FEBRUARY 8 | SAINT AGATHA

Saint Agatha reminds us that faith rooted in God gives strength beyond fear. Though she faced suffering and persecution, she remained steadfast, choosing fidelity to Christ over comfort and safety. Her courage teaches us that holiness is not the absence of pain, but the presence of unwavering trust in God. On her memorial, we are invited to ask for the grace to stand firm in our faith, especially when it is tested, and to offer our struggles as a testimony of love for God.

JANUARY 28 | SAINT THOMAS AQUINAS

St. Thomas Aquinas teaches us that faith and reason work together in seeking the truth. Though he was a great scholar, he remained deeply humble, recognizing that all human knowledge is small compared to God’s mystery. His life reminds us that learning has true value only when it leads us closer to God and helps us grow in love and holiness.
