Joseph was hated and envied by his own brothers so to get rid of him, they sold him for 20 pieces of silver and was brought away from his beloved father.

Today, let's all learn from Joseph when he said:

Gen 45:45
And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.

Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither:
..for God did send me before you to preserve life!

Gen 50:20

But as for you...
YOU THOUGHT EVIL AGAINST ME;

❤ but God meant it unto good, ❤

to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive!

* Yes, events & people may hurt us...but I hope, as we learn the character of Joseph that GOD, IN HIS WORDS, the Bible, wants us to learn, understand and live by... ...that instead of being selfish, think & consider of the probable PURPOSE.
