With Super Typhoon Uwan approaching, it’s natural for fear to creep in, especially after everything we’ve faced: the Earthquake, Typhoon Tino, and now another Typhoon.
But hear this truth loud and clear: 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐠𝐨. 🙏

When everything feels uncertain, we hold on to this promise from: 𝑷𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒎 46:1–2 (𝑵𝑰𝑽)

“𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒈𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉, 𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓-𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒆.
𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒓, 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔 𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒂.”

Right now, our call is simple: 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐲, 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐲.

Let’s lean on His strength instead of our fears, and fix our eyes on His light, because after every storm, His sunshine breaks through.

Sending love, prayers, and steadfast faith to every home.

Join us this Sunday, 9:00Am on November 9, 2025 at Zion Baptist Church, Maxilom Street, Poblacion 3, Tuburan, Cebu.

As we prepare for the coming of Super Typhoon Uwan, let us not be overcome by fear but be strengthened by faith. Even when the winds roar and the skies grow dark, God remains our refuge and fortress, a present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Be comforted, No storm is greater than our God’s mercy. His love shelters us, His promises sustain us, and His peace calms every fear.

Come and join us in prayer and worship as we seek God’s protection and find strength together in His Word. 🌤️ Let’s remind one another that even in the storm, God is still in control. 🙌
