21𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 ✨
Despite the cold and rainy weather, our Gimong gathered in faith and thanksgiving as we celebrated the 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time. This Sunday was made even more meaningful as we also celebrated 𝘼𝙡𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨’ 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝 through the 𝙄𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝘼𝙡𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨, who have answered the call to serve at the altar and dedicate themselves to the service of the Lord and His Church. 🙏
In his reflection on the Gospel, Reverend Father Clyde Banasan called on the Gimong to journey together in embracing and carrying out the mission of Jesus. He encouraged us to look beyond simply knowing about Jesus and to ask ourselves, “𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞?”
Peter recognized Jesus not merely as a teacher or prophet, but as the Son of the living God. His response came from his deep faith and personal relationship with Christ.
𝘑𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘶𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘊𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘩. 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘯𝘦𝘸𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘢𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦—𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭—𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯.
