More than a melody we sing, the SCA Hymn is a bold proclamation of our identityโ€”a generation of young people called to stand firm in faith, defend the truth, and live out the Gospel in our everyday lives. Each line is not merely recited, but embraced; not only heard, but lived.

As we sing with all our hearts, we are reminded that we are not just individuals, but a movementโ€”united in purpose, strengthened by faith, and committed to the mission of evangelization. With heads lifted high and hearts set on Christ, we are called to witness with courage, carrying the Cross not as a burden, but as our only swordโ€”a sign of love, sacrifice, and victory.

As we go forth, may we always remember who we represent and who we follow. May every word we speak and every action we take reflect the virtues of our Blessed Mother Maryโ€”her humility in service, her obedience to Godโ€™s will, and her unwavering trust in His plan.

90 YEARS OF FAITH, ACTION, AND SERVICE!

To all our beloved SCAns and alumni, dedicated partners, and friends in the youth ministry across the archipelago: Happy 90th Founding Anniversary to the Student Catholic Action of the Philippines (SCAP)!

For nine decades, SCAP has stood as a beacon of Christโ€™s love in our schools and communities. Since 1936, we have embraced the call to "Restore all things in Christ," empowering generations of student-leaders to live out the Gospel through the See-Judge-Act methodology.

As we reach this historic milestone, we honor the pioneers who paved the way and the current SCAns who continue to be the "heart and hands" of the Church in the student world.

To our partners and co-laborers in the youth ministry, thank you for walking with us in this mission of love.

Let us continue to move forward with courage, humility, and zeal. Hereโ€™s to 90 years of grace, and to many more years of being Leaders for Christ and the Community!

He is not here, He is Risen just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay. - Matthew 28:6

This Easter Sunday, let this be a reminder that no darkness, no pain, and no failure ever has the final say. The empty tomb speaks of hope, new beginnings, and a love that never gave up on us. We are called to live as people of the Resurrection. Renewed, forgiven, and filled with purpose.

As His followers, let us challenge ourselves to do not just celebrate Easterโ€”live it.

Rise from whatever is holding you back. Choose love over pride, faith over fear, and purpose over comfort. Be a reflection of Christโ€™s victory in the way you speak, act, and love others.

Today, we remember the suffering, crucifixion, and death of Christ on the Cross. As we do the 14 stations of the Cross, we relive the journey of Christ to the Calvary, and as we do so, let us put ourselves in those times. Are we like the guards who inflict more damage to Christ? Are we like Simon of Cyrene who was forced to help Christ but also ended up as a close follower? or are we one of the people that Christ healed and yet rejoice at the sight of Christ's sufferings?

Our Lord suffered so that we might be saved, but salvation needs our participation. God who made us without us canot save us without us. Are we opening ourselves to God's grace? or are we denying His Love?

As we reflect on Christ's sufferings, let us unite ourselves with our brothers and sisters who are suffering as well. Victims of War, Persecution, Discrimination, Corruption, and many other moral sickness that inflict the society. May we be reminded of God's love that is so great, it is willing to forgive even a thief on the cross as long as he is repentant.

The Paschal Triduum continues. Christ needs us to be with Him. Are we ready and open to say yes to His call?

Today, we joyfully celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, a profound reminder of Godโ€™s boundless love and His desire to draw humanity closer to Him. In His divine plan, Mary was conceived without sin, preserved in perfect grace to become the pure vessel through whom our Redeemer, Jesus Christ, would enter the world. Her โ€œyesโ€ changed the course of salvation historyโ€”and continues to inspire our own response to Godโ€™s call.

Maryโ€™s life remains a radiant example of unwavering faith, humility, courage, and total surrender to Godโ€™s will. In her purity, she teaches us hope; in her obedience, she teaches us trust; and in her motherhood, she teaches us love. As our Mother and Advocate, she listens to our prayers, carries our intentions, and gently leads us closer to her Son.

On this blessed day, let us open our hearts to grace. Let us ask Mary to intercede for us, to guide us in moments of doubt, to strengthen us in times of suffering, and to help us grow in holiness. May her Immaculate Heart be our refuge and inspiration as we strive to imitate her virtues in our daily lives.

May this celebration renew in us a deeper devotion to God, a stronger love for Mary, and a renewed commitment to living out our faith with joy and sincerity.
