​Our brother seminarians, Jones and Menzi, concluded their one-month apostolate at our parish today. They will enjoy a week of rest with their families before returning to ICST in Vigan City to resume their seminary formation.

​Day 2 of our Parish Youth Kumustaha is off to a vibrant start! After a relaxed morning of coffee and hoops, the San Lorenzo Youth energized the crowd with "Masayang Kristiano." We’ve already dived deep into servant leadership with Bro. Jones Kito, explored self-discovery through the Johari Window with Ate Shane Bagayan, and navigated the complexities of youth relationships and power with Atty. Joshelle Ruth Bentrez Bancilo. MIDYEAR YEAR YM KUMUSTAHAN Day 1
The midyear kumustahan brought together 90 young leaders, fresh from their classes and still in their school uniforms, for a day of reflection and connection.

​We opened with a Mass, where Fr. Marlon Urmaza reminded us that true progress begins with the choice to see the goodness in others and the humility to remain lifelong learners. Through our Bible drills and Lectio Divina, the Word of God became a mirror, opening hearts to share stories of home, studies, relationships, and prayer.

​Though the rain fell throughout the afterrnoon, it only served to quiet the noise and deepen our dialogue. It was a beautiful reminder that when we listen with intent, every story shared is a step toward personal and spiritual growth.

What a truly blessed day in Luding! ​Today, we gathered in the unfinished church of Luding—a structure that, despite its incompleteness, stands as a powerful testament to the unwavering faith of the people.

​It was a double celebration as the community marked its 34th Gimong fiesta in honor of their patron saint, San Isidro Labrador, celebrating his constant intercession in their daily lives and work. We also had the joy of witnessing the First Communion of 18 children.

​We are reminded today that we are not just building a church of stone and mortar, but a church formed by persons of faith. Way to go, Luding Gimong! 🙏✨
