🎉HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANNA MAE LAWIS! 🎉
Today, we celebrate not only another year of your life, but also the faithfulness of God who has carried you through every season. Every year reminds us that life is not simply about becoming older or achieving more, but about becoming more faithful to the One who gave us life in the first place.
As you continue serving the Lord, may you always remember that the gifts, talents, and abilities He has given you are not only for your own growth. They are also opportunities to make His goodness known. May you continue to use what God has placed in your hands with humility and faithfulness, especially in serving the children through the Kids Ministry. May your patience, presence, and simple acts of love become a way for them to see something of Christ through you.
There may be moments when you wonder where certain desires will lead, when some prayers are still unanswered, or when the future does not look the way you imagined. In those moments, may you continue to submit and surrender everything to the Lord. Surrender your plans when they do not happen according to your timing. Surrender your desires when you are asked to wait. Surrender your worries when you cannot see what is ahead. And surrender even the things you deeply hope for, trusting that God knows what your heart cannot yet understand.
As you enter another year, may your greatest desire be not simply to have the life you want, but to become the person God wants you to be. May you seek His will above your own plans, His wisdom above your own understanding, and His presence above the things this world can offer. Whatever He allows in your studies, future, relationships, and every other part of your life, may you continue to trust that His plans are always worth following.
Above everything, may you never lose sight of the One you are serving. Positions may change, responsibilities may change, seasons may change, and even the people around you may change but Christ remains constan. May your service always begin with Him, remain centered on Him, and ultimately lead people back to Him.
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.”
Psalm 37:5 NIV
