Last February 7, these precious souls publicly declared their faith in Jesus through water baptism. What a beautiful and powerful moment it was—witnessing hearts boldly choose to follow Christ and testify of His transforming grace.

Today, the church joyfully presented their baptismal certificates as a symbol of their lifelong commitment to follow and serve their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May they continue to walk faithfully with Him, never turning back, but pressing forward in His love, truth, and purpose.

To God be all the glory! ✨

What a beautiful and Spirit-filled evening as 12 blessed couples gathered to celebrate love, commitment, and Christ-centered marriage in the Couples’ Night with the theme “Rooted in Christ, Bound by Covenant”.

The night began with an opening prayer led by Rev. Lorenzo Aguil, the host pastor of JFA – House of Prayer, followed by a short but powerful time of worship that prepared every heart for God’s message.

We were honored to have Rev. Angelou Ventura, the host pastor of Higher Ground Church, who shared an inspiring Word of encouragement anchored in Ecclesiastes 4:12b — "A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." A timely reminder that when Christ is at the center of every marriage, the bond becomes stronger, unshaken, and enduring.

The evening was filled with joy and laughter through couples’ games, a romantic candlelight dinner, and a meaningful renewal of covenant, during which couples recommitted their love and promises before God led by Rev. Venture. The night was concluded with a heartfelt closing prayer by Pastor Mario Cabillo, one of the pastors of JFA – House of Prayer.

Indeed, it was a night of rekindled love, strengthened faith, and renewed covenant. All glory to God for what He is doing in every marriage in JFA-HOP! 💕

Grateful for the memories, the fellowship, and the reminder that church is not just a place… it’s people who grow, pray, and celebrate life together.

What a glorious day at Arota Beach Resort, Lawigan, Bislig, Surigao del Sur! Fourteen precious souls publicly declared their faith through baptism, rejoicing in new life in Christ. 🌊✝️

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17)

We celebrate with heaven and give all glory to God for this milestone in our JFA- House of Prayer church family. 🙌💙
