JAMES 1:22-25

22. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

GOD IS FAITHFUL

"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." (I Corinthians 10:13 NKJV)

Trials that may overcome us or may take us are common. Whatever we need to know or learn from these were written in the Bible. It was written for us to observe and be careful not to commit the same mistakes they did.

Trials given to us will always be "with in" our capability. God knows us too much. He knows our strengths and weaknesses. He knows what will make us laugh and what will make us cry. He knows everything about us.

Trials will not consume us. Trials were meant to help us grow and mature in our faith in God. Though it may be very difficult for us to bear. But God is faithful that He will make a way for us to always escape.

As believers of Christ, always depend on the power of Christ in our lives. Be always in need of that strength coming from Him. Because His strength is made perfect in our weakness and His grace is sufficient for everyone of us (2 Corinthians 12:9). And we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Surrender your life to Him.
