💚 A Bishop's Ring with a Marinduqueño Heart! 💍

Bishop Edwin O. Panergo, D.D., shared such a touching detail about his Episcopal Ring during the installation!

He explained that the center of his ring features a Heart, representing the whole province of Marinduque. But instead of the usual red, the heart is colored GREEN.

Why green? Bishop Edwin said this was inspired by the deep concern for the environment he heard from the faithful, particularly during a visit to Cawit, Boac last October 24, 2025.

"I placed the green there to remind me that one of the vital concerns close to the heart of the Marinduqueños is the love for nature (kalikasan)."

What a wonderful way to symbolize his commitment to the people and the beautiful home we share. Our new Bishop truly wears the heart of Marinduque!

The Clergy and the Lay Faithful of Boac, Marinduque, joyfully invite everyone to the Solemn Installation and Canonical Possession of the Most Rev. Edwin O. Panergo, D.D. as the Fifth Bishop of the Diocese of Boac on December 2, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Mataas na Bayan, Boac, Marinduque.

Canonical Possession refers to the canonical rite by which a bishop takes over governance of a diocese. This rite officially grants him authority over the diocese according to Canon Law.

On October 4, 2025, our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, appointed Fr. Edwin Panergo, a priest from the Diocese of Lucena, as the fifth Bishop of Boac.

We honor and celebrate the life of Rev. Fr. Isagani M. Milambiling — a faithful servant whose love, wisdom, and kindness touched countless hearts. Though he has returned to the Father, his spirit and legacy will forever live in the hearts of those he inspired.
