In 1 or 2 hours from now, our new Lectern and Altar Table Extension will arrive from Pampanga. This is only a part of many changes or renovation being lined up for our parish church. Let us keep on supporting our fund raising campaigns.

REMEMBER THE POOR!
From ancient days, Maundy Thursday is a special day for the early Christian community for emphasizing charity towards the less fortunate.
When you come to the Evening Mass of the Lord's Supper today (5.00 PM), Maundy Thursday, in our parish, please DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR OFFERING FOR THE POOR. We will also have Fasting Well today in the Holy Mass.
In lieu of the traditional dinner after the Evening Mass of the Lord's Supper today, we have invited 56 poor families to the rectory for dinner. These poor families from our parish are those whose homes were the stations of our Via Crucis these past Fridays. Many of them are vendors, widows, laborers. All are informal settlers. LET US FEED THE POOR. LET US NEVER FORGET THEM.
Parishioners are most welcome to send their cooked food to the rectory on or before 5.30 P.M. today. Please look for Ate Gemma Curayag, our point-person. Maraming salamat po. +

Considering the concerns and suggestions I listened to, in view of Palm Sunday next week, kindly be guided by the following points and please disseminate the same to all those entrusted to your care:

1. More than any consideration, the liturgy of Palm Sunday takes precedence over any consideration;

2. Because of the order and length of the liturgy, peculiar to Palm Sunday, we will not read marriage banns and suspend the other prayers usually said prior to the Holy
Mass. Reading or praying them resumes on Easter Sunday, with the exception of the Easter Vigil;

3. There will be no announcements to be read this coming Sunday;

4. No singing of the parish hymn,

5. Catechetical videos and other instructions that are significant to the Palm Sunday and Holy Week liturgies should be presented to the congregation 10 minutes prior to the Holy Mass;

6. The Anamnesis, Prex Domini, and Doxology may be dropped. Choirs must coordinate with the assigned MC;

7. The 7AM Holy Mass will be High Mass and the Eucharistic Prayer will be in Latin (The assigned choir therefore needs to sing the responses accordingly);

8. The 7AM Holy Mass should start on time at the dead end of Pilar street; ministers there must be on location 20 minutes earlier and have to carry palm branches except those who have liturgical paraphernalia to carry.

MERCY and COMPASSION...let's begin with this.
What better way should we prepare for the grace of Pope Francis' visit to us than being reconciled with God and one another? Let us, even now, celebrate and experience MERCY and COMPASSION in the Sacrament of Reconciliation!
