TAKING THE GOSPEL OUTSIDE THE FOUR WALLS ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„

This afternoon, Saturday, May 30, the men and women of The Potterā€™s House Church ā€“ Tolosa, led by Bro. Jonathan Moraleta, shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the Tolosa Public Plaza in Tolosa, Leyte.

The message was warmly received, and six (6) souls made the life-changing decision to leave their former way of life and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Personal Savior.

The reality is that we are constantly surrounded by bad news that affects our lives. Yet there is still Good News found in Jesus Christ alone. That is why we must continually bring the Gospel beyond the four walls of the churchā€”because people need to hear it.

As it is written:

"Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city." Acts 18:9ā€“10

Napakasayang pagmasdan ang bawat ngiti, tawa, at higit sa lahat, ang mga pusong tumanggap sa ating buhay na Diyos sa ginanap na ONE80 Jam Concert: Peace in Jesus noong Biyernes, May 29, sa The Potterā€™s House Church ā€“ Tolosa.

Sampung (10) katao ang nagdesisyong talikuran ang kanilang dating pamumuhay at tanggapin ang regalong kaligtasan mula sa ating Panginoong Hesu Kristo. Napuno ang lugar ng tawanan, awitan, sigawan, at higit sa lahat, ng presensya ng Diyos na humipo sa bawat puso at isipan.

Tunay ngang hindi ito tungkol sa kung ano ang meron tayo, o sa husay ng pag-awit at pagtugtog ng instrumento. Ito ay tungkol sa pagkilos ng Espiritu ng Diyos na siyang nagdadala ng pagbabago sa buhay ng tao.

OBEDIENCE AT ITS FINEST ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„

This Discipleship Class, Friday, May 22, two disciplesā€”Earl Joseph Moraleta and Eljay Encinaā€”delivered sermons that challenged and reminded everyone of their calling in Christ.

First, Eljayā€™s message reflected on the story of Jonah, reminding us that as disciples, we are called to minister even when it is difficult. We are not called to be served, but to serve. Just as Jonah experienced the consequences of disobedience, we are reminded that running from Godā€™s calling leads us away from His purpose. But when we choose obedience, there is blessing, growth, and favor in our lives.

On the other hand, Earlā€™s sermon focused on doing everything wholeheartedly for God. In ministry, we are called to give our best, being honest even when no one is watching, putting effort even into small responsibilities, and serving with a willing heart.

Indeed, God is still calling men and women with willing heartsā€”not to be served, but to serve powerfully in His field.

BEING A GOOD DISCIPLE ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„

Yesterday, Friday evening, May 15, Bro. Jay Martin Roa delivered a timely message entitled ā€œBeing a Good Discipleā€ in the Men's Discipleship Class at The Potterā€™s House Church Tolosa under the leadership of Pastor Cord Ian Moraleta.

He emphasized that a good disciple loves othersā€”even the unlovable. A disciple must remain faithful in prayer, ministry, and devotion, always ready to share the Gospel, and bear much good fruit.

Indeed, discipleship comes with a cost. It requires sacrifice, self-denial, and full submission to God. But the truth is, God is not looking for a perfect personā€”He is looking for a heart that is willing and available. ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„
