OBEDIENCE AT ITS FINEST ā¤ļøāš„
This Discipleship Class, Friday, May 22, two disciplesāEarl Joseph Moraleta and Eljay Encinaādelivered sermons that challenged and reminded everyone of their calling in Christ.
First, Eljayās message reflected on the story of Jonah, reminding us that as disciples, we are called to minister even when it is difficult. We are not called to be served, but to serve. Just as Jonah experienced the consequences of disobedience, we are reminded that running from Godās calling leads us away from His purpose. But when we choose obedience, there is blessing, growth, and favor in our lives.
On the other hand, Earlās sermon focused on doing everything wholeheartedly for God. In ministry, we are called to give our best, being honest even when no one is watching, putting effort even into small responsibilities, and serving with a willing heart.
Indeed, God is still calling men and women with willing heartsānot to be served, but to serve powerfully in His field.
