Prayer to Our Lady of the Assumption

O most Blessed Virgin Mary,
Mother of God and Queen of Heaven,
you were assumed body and soul into heavenly glory,
a sign of the promise that awaits us all who believe.

We come before you, Our Lady of the Assumption,
filled with love and trust in your motherly care.
You carried Christ in your womb and now reign with Him in glory—
intercede for us, your children on Earth.

Help us to rise above the burdens of this life,
to seek the things of heaven, and to live in hope,
as we journey toward our eternal home.
Teach us humility, obedience, and unwavering faith,
just as you showed through your “yes” to God.

Wrap us in your mantle of protection,
especially in times of trial and sorrow.
Guide our hearts to Jesus, your Son,
and strengthen us to do God’s will with courage and joy.

O Mary, assumed into heaven,
pray for us now and at the hour of our death.
Lead us safely to the presence of your Son,
that we too may share in the glory of the Resurrection.

Over time, she has become not just a religious symbol, but a beloved spiritual mother and guide to our family and to many others who come to her in faith.
