HE IS RISEN! | On this glorious Sunday of the Resurrection of our Lord, we are reminded that light will always overcome darkness, and hope will always rise above despair. The empty tomb is not just a sign of victory over death, but a promise that no suffering, no sorrow, and no cross we carry is ever without meaning.

Today, we celebrate the triumph of love—God’s unfailing love that brings new life even in the most broken moments. Just as Christ rose, we too are called to rise: from our doubts into faith, from our fears into courage, and from our struggles into renewed strength.

Happy Easter! Alleluia, Alleluia!

PART FOUR | The Liturgy of the Eucharist

Finally, we gather around the altar to partake in the heavenly banquet, where the bread and wine become the ultimate sign of His presence. This first Eucharist of Easter is the culmination of our Lenten journey, a feast of victory and a pledge of the glory to come. In this sacred meal, we are nourished by the Risen Christ, becoming one with Him and with one another. Our hearts are full, for the Lord is truly risen, and He walks among us still.

PART THREE | The Liturgy of Baptism (Blessing of Water)

The air is filled with the grace of rebirth as the baptismal waters are blessed. We plunge into the waters of death only to rise with Him, washed clean and claimed as God’s own forever. Renewing our own baptismal promises, we feel the cooling grace of the water and the strength of the Holy Spirit moving among us. It is a moment of profound renewal, where the old self passes away and all things are made new.

PART TWO | The Liturgy of the Word

We sit in the stillness of the night to listen to the great story of our salvation, journeying from the dawn of Creation to the promise of the Gospel. Each reading serves as a milestone, tracing God’s unwavering faithfulness to His people throughout the ages. As the Gloria rings out and the bells peel, we transition from ancient prophecy to the joyful reality of the Risen Lord. Our history is a love story, and tonight, we celebrate its greatest chapter.

PART ONE | Blessing of Fire & Lighting of the Paschal Candle

The darkness of the night is shattered as the new fire is kindled, symbolizing Christ’s triumphant victory over the grave. From this holy blaze, the Paschal Candle is lit, a radiant pillar of fire that leads us through the shadows and into the glory of the Resurrection. As the flame is passed from person to person, the entire church is transformed into a sea of light, reflecting the warmth of God’s presence among us. We stand in awe of the "Light of Christ," knowing that his spark now burns brightly within each of our hearts. It is the sacred beginning of our journey from the silence of the tomb to the joy of Easter morning.

TINIEBLAS - 3 | On this third day of Tinieblas, we are reminded of how darkness can sometimes feel overwhelming, how silence, suffering, and uncertainty can fill our hearts. As the candles are gradually extinguished, we are invited to reflect on the moments in our lives when hope seems distant and faith is tested.

Yet, even in the deepest darkness, we are not abandoned. This solemn moment reminds us that Christ, too, entered into darkness out of love for us. In His suffering and death, He embraced our pain, our fears, and our brokenness.

May this day lead us to a deeper faith, a stronger hope, and a more profound trust in God’s love—knowing that after every darkness, there is always the coming of light.
