ADVENT | A TIME OF HOPE AND PREPARATION
As we begin the beautiful season of Advent, we open our hearts to hope, peace, joy, and love. This sacred time invites us to slow down, reflect, and prepare the way of the Lord. In the midst of our busy days, may we find moments of silence to listen to God’s voice and renew our longing for Christ’s coming.
Let us journey together with faith, with hearts ready to welcome the Light that shines in the darkness.

The four candles of the Advent wreath symbolize the progressive light of God entering the world. Each candle has its own meaning: Hope, Faith, Joy, and Peace. As each week passes, the growing light reminds us of Christ the true Light of the World drawing nearer to us. The candles not only mark time but also lead our hearts to deeper reflection and prayer.

The First Candle, the Prophet’s Candle, represents Hope, reminding us of the prophecies foretelling the Messiah. The Second Candle, the Bethlehem Candle, symbolizes Faith and the journey of Mary and Joseph. The Third Candle, the Shepherd’s Candle, is rose colored and stands for Joy, celebrating the nearness of Christ’s birth. The Fourth Candle, the Angel’s Candle, signifies Peace, recalling the message of the angels: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace.”❤🤍💛

RED WEDNESDAY | Tomorrow, we stand in solidarity with persecuted Christians around the world as we commemorate Red Wednesday. This day reminds us of the courage of those who suffer for their faith and calls us to pray, remember, and speak for those who cannot.

May our simple act of wearing red be a light of hope, a sign of unity, and a reminder that faith must never be silenced.❤️🤍💛

Viva Cristo Rey!
Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, proclaiming Christ as the center of our lives and the true King who reigns with love, mercy, and truth. As we honor His kingship, we are reminded that His kingdom is built not on power, but on service, compassion, and sacrificial love.

May Christ our King strengthen our faith, guide our hearts, and lead our community to live in peace, unity, and mission.
Long live Christ the King may His reign shine in our lives today and always.❤️🤍💛
