Even though He walked with them, they did not realize it was Him until that simple yet sacred moment. This reminds us that Jesus is always present in our lives, especially in the Eucharist, even when we fail to notice Him. Like the disciples, we are invited to open our eyes and hearts, to listen to His word, and to recognize Him in the ordinary moments of our daily lives.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, ARCHBISHOP ABET! | With hearts full of gratitude, we thank God for the 33 years of faithful and fruitful priestly ministry of Cebu Archbishop Alberto β€œAbet” Uy.

Ordained on April 14, 1993, Archbishop Abet has become a living witness of Christ’s compassionate heart β€” shepherding with humility, serving with joy, and loving his flock with unwavering dedication.

As he continues to lead the People of God, may the Lord grant him renewed strength, steadfast perseverance, and an ever-deepening zeal for his sacred mission. Let us keep him in our prayers, that his ministry may continue to bear abundant grace and blessings for the Church.

Chosen 74th pope in 649 without imperial approval. Conducted the Lateran Council which condemned the patriach of Constantinople for Monothelitism, which claimed that Christ had no human will.
This put him in opposition to the emperor who had him arrested and tortured.

Paul, Patriarch of Constantinople, repented of his stance which saved Martin from ex*****on, but the pope died soon after from damage done during his imprisonment, and is considered a martyr, the last martyred pope.

There is no shadow dark enough to extinguish the light of God’s mercy.

Today, on the Feast of Divine Mercy, we celebrate the beautiful truth that God’s greatest attribute is His love for the imperfect.

The red and pale rays flowing from the Heart of Jesus remind us of the blood and water that gushed forth as a fount of mercy for us.

It’s a reminder that no matter how far we’ve strayed or how heavy our burdens feel, the door to His heart is always standing wide open. Today isn't just a day on the calendar; it’s a personal invitation to let go of our past and step into a future defined by grace.
