Heavenly Father,
on this first Sunday morning,
we rise with grateful hearts
to praise and worship You.

Thank You for the gift of a new day
and for calling us to rest in Your love
and rejoice in Your presence.
As we begin this day,
cleanse our hearts and renew our spirits,
that we may walk in holiness and truth.

Lord Jesus,
be at the center of our lives today.
Teach us to listen to Your word,
to love as You love,
and to serve with humility and joy.
May our worship draw us closer to You
and strengthen our faith.

Holy Spirit,
guide our thoughts, words, and actions.
Fill our homes with peace,
our families with unity,
and our hearts with hope.

May this Sunday be a day of grace,
a time of renewal and blessing,
as we entrust ourselves completely
into Your loving hands.

A BLESSED MEMORIAL OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA'S MIRACLE OF THE SUN

The Miracle of the Sun, also known as the Miracle of Fátima, is a series of events reported to have occurred miraculously on 13 October 1917, attended by a large crowd who had gathered in Fátima, Portugal, in response to a prophecy made by three shepherd children, Lúcia Santos and Francisco and Jacinta Marto. The prophecy was that the Virgin Mary (referred to as Our Lady of Fátima) would appear and perform miracles on that date. Newspapers published testimony from witnesses who said that they had seen extraordinary solar activity, such as the Sun appearing to "dance" or zig-zag in the sky, advance towards the Earth, or emit multicolored light and radiant colors. According to these reports, the event lasted approximately ten minutes.
