𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 | 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

With deep gratitude and heartfelt prayers, the Barangay Carmen community gathered on August 3, 2025, to celebrate a meaningful Despedida Mass in honor of Rev. Fr. Vicente Jay G. Villaceran. This special occasion served both as a tribute and a send-off, recognizing his unwavering dedication, spiritual leadership, and the countless lives he has touched throughout his ministry.

The Mass was a profound expression of love, respect, and thanksgiving for Fr. Jay’s pastoral service. Filled with emotion and reverence, it highlighted not only his devotion to his vocation but also the deep bonds he has formed within the community.

As he embarks on a new chapter of his priestly mission, we offer our prayers for continued strength, guidance, and divine protection. May the seeds of faith he has planted continue to flourish, and may God bless him abundantly in the journey ahead.

Thank you, Fr. Jay, for your faithful service. You will always have a home in our hearts.💞

📿 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟱 𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗦 | 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱
𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗲ñ𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻

As we reached the fifth day of our Novena, the Gospel (Matthew 10:16–23) reminded us of the challenges that come with discipleship—the call to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves in a world that may not always understand our faith. Mama Mary knew this road well. She embraced a life of quiet courage, firm faith, and unwavering obedience amidst trials and uncertainties. In her, we find strength to follow Jesus even when it is difficult, to stand firm in love and truth.

𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗲ñ𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻

On this fourth day of our Novena, the Gospel (Matthew 10:7–15) speaks of being sent to proclaim the Good News with simplicity, peace, and trust in God’s providence. In the quiet strength of Mama Mary, we see this Gospel lived out fully. She carried the Word in her womb and brought peace to those she visited—most especially Elizabeth and the disciples at Pentecost. Through her example, we’re reminded that we don’t need much to be a blessing to others. A willing heart and faith-filled steps are enough.

As we entered the third day of our Novena, the Gospel (Matthew 10:1–7) reminded us of Jesus calling and sending out His disciples to proclaim that the Kingdom of heaven is at hand. In the same way, Mama Mary calls us to mission—not with grand gestures, but with humble service and a heart anchored in faith. Under her mantle, we are reminded that we too are sent: to heal, to love, and to bring others closer to her Son. Nuestra Señora del Carmen walks with us as we say yes to God’s call, even in our small and ordinary lives.

𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗲ñ𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻

On the second day of our Novena, held on July 8, we were reminded through the Gospel (Matthew 9:32–38) of Jesus’ deep compassion for the suffering which were healing the mute and driving out evil, even amidst disbelief. In the same way, we draw strength from Nuestra Señora del Carmen, our loving Mother, who intercedes for us in silence and brings healing to our hearts. Like Jesus, whose heart was moved for the crowds, Mary continues to walk with us in our brokenness, leading us to her Son, the source of all mercy. As we offer our prayers and petitions, may we also be inspired to become laborers in His harvest, bearing love, service, and compassion in our daily lives.

Sa usa ka mahugpong ug malaumong pagsaulog sa pagtuo, atong opisyal nga giablihan ang nobenaryo alang sa umaabot nga pista sa atong pinalanggang patrona, Nuestra Señora del Carmen, kagahapong adlawa, Hulyo 7, 2025, pinaagi sa usa ka matahum ug masinati nga Terrestrial Procession.

Ang maong panaw espiritwal gisalmotan sa mga deboto, mga kabatan-onan, mga opisyales sa kapilya ug barangay, nga nagpakita sa ilang mapinadayong suporta, pagtahod, ug dakong gugma alang sa Mahal nga Birhen.

Kini nga mahinungdanong selebrasyon usa ka pahimangno sa gahum sa pag-ampo ug sa kusog sa komunidad nga naghiusa diha sa pagtoo. Sa pagsugod sa siyam ka adlaw nga pagpangandam, dalangin nato nga pinaagi sa panabang ug panalipod ni Nuestra Señora del Carmen, padayon kitang pagabendisyonan ug giya sa tanang aspeto sa atong kinabuhi.
