✨HEAVEN OPENS: THE FEAST OF THE BAPTISM OF THE LORD-WHERE WE ARE CLAIMED AS GOD’S BELOVED✨

On the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, we contemplate the moment when Jesus humbly enters the waters of the Jordan, not because He needed purification, but to fully unite Himself with humanity. As He rises from the water, the heavens open, the Holy Spirit descends, and the voice of the Father declares Him the Beloved Son, revealing the mystery of the Holy Trinity. This sacred event marks the beginning of Christ’s public ministry and reminds us that through our own baptism, we too are claimed, loved, and sent. Called to live as children of God, we are invited to walk in faith, to embrace humility and service, and to reflect God’s love in our daily lives, trusting that the same Spirit who descended upon Christ continues to guide and strengthen us today.
