"But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy." — Titus 3:4–5
GRACE DOES NOT WORK LIKE HUMAN FAIRNESS⚖️
God doesn't measure fairness the way we do. In the story of the vineyard workers (Matthew 20:1–16), God calls people at different times in their lives. His love and salvation aren't earned by how long or hard we work. Grace is a free gift from God, not a paycheck we work to deserve.
Because God’s grace is a gift, serving Him should come from love, not a feeling that He owes us something. We also shouldn't compare our journey to anyone else's. God has more than enough love for everyone, so someone else getting blessed doesn't mean there is less blessing left for you.
At the end of the day, people look at hard work and outward appearances, but God looks straight at our hearts. Instead of competing or feeling jealous, we are called to be happy and celebrate whenever someone else experiences God's amazing grace.🙏🏻
