On March 26, 2025, the NNHS Campus Ministry successfully held the School-Based Way of the Cross (SBWC), uniting 1,078 students, advisers and curriculum chairmans, head teachers and master teachers from Grades 7 to 11 in a solemn journey of faith and reflection.๐Ÿ˜‡

Embarking on the 15th Diocesan Youth Way of the Cross journey, our logo serves as a beacon of hope, guiding us through the depths of reflection and renewal. As we trace the footsteps of Christ's ultimate sacrifice, each element intricately woven into this logo symbolizes the essence of our pilgrimage: the rugged cross symbolizing unwavering faith, the winding path representing life's trials and triumphs, the bread and fish symbolizes the multiplication of loaves by our Lord Jesus Christ that represents his unending and abundant graces to us and the vibrant hues depicting the spectrum of emotions experienced along our spiritual journey.

With hearts open and spirits ignited, we march forward, embracing the transformative power of this sacred ritual, united in solidarity and strengthened in our collective resolve to embody Christ's love and compassion in our lives. Together, let us illuminate the path towards redemption and grace, as we walk the Way of the Cross with reverence, reverence, and reverence, towards a brighter tomorrow.

Cross - The symbol of our Christian identity. It symbolizes Christ's triumph over sin and death. "He himself bore our sins in his body upon the cross, so that, free from sin, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds, you have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24)

Feet walking together - Symbol of our synodal journey -walking towards the fullness of life. It also represents our diocese's observance of the Year of Participation calling us to renewed involvement, especially with the youth.

Fish - the fish (Icthus in Greek) symbolizes Jesus Christ, our Kalakbay, the one who calls us to be fishers of men. This also represents the fish offered during the feeding of 5000.

Bread - Bread is also a symbol of Jesus, the Bread of Life, whom we partake of in the Eucharist. This also reminds us that "One does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God. " (Matthew 4:4)
