This week, our Puso Notebook journey led us to a question that shapes everything else in life:
Who am I, really?
In a world that constantly tells us to define ourselves by labels, failures, achievements, opinions, and expectations, this lesson gently but firmly redirected us to a more important question:
Who does God say I am?
We reflected on how identity is often formed by voices around us — culture, comparison, past mistakes, or even our own insecurities. But Scripture reminds us that our truest identity is not something we create; it is something we receive.
We are created in God’s image.
We are known, seen, and loved by Him.
In Christ, we are forgiven, redeemed, and made new.
This lesson taught us that finding ourselves does not begin with looking inward or outward, but looking upward. When we see ourselves through God’s eyes, we begin to live not from insecurity, but from assurance — not striving for value, but resting in the truth that we are already loved.
Identity rooted in God brings clarity, humility, and freedom.
And this is only part of the journey.
More learning.
More truth.
More becoming who God has always intended us to be.
