The Altar Servers Ministry of the Parish of St. John Sahagun Tigbauan along side the other parishes under the Vicariate of St.John attended the ALTAR SERVERS CAMP-OUT 2026. The delegates of the ministry were composed of 27 altar servers, led by their ministry president Fritz Aniel Flanco and other officers.
The ministry participated in various events including Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Football and Quizbee. The basketball boys despite their best efforts and fearless drive fell short on their first game against St. Paul, forcing them to end their basketball stint this year.
Jerome Martyn Julaton, Christian Vic Luberisco and Symone Miguel Geronco led the team with grit and composure to a 2nd Runner-up finish in the Quiz-bee competition alongside their brother-in-christ from Guimbal Parish Patric Emmanuel Porras. The football team also tried their best to show their skill but fell short to St.Titus and Timothy, composed of John Roque Serognas, Priam Medina, Lawrence Tayhopon, Manuel Talaman and Duke Medina.
Alfonso Tornalejo III also participated in the Table Tennis, despite showing good skills fell short to secure a podium. The volleyball team also secured a 2nd Runner-up finish falling in the semi finals against St. Jude Thaddeus led by Jesus Earl Ledesma as the team captain of the vicariate alongside Carl Morales, Jefferson Torrato, Aron Trabasas, Jake Calumnay, Kenan Tambalo and their brothers-in- christ from Guimbal Parish (John Christian Gatungay, Val Cedric Netura, Rhembert Escamis, Gian Gargantos, Ian Carlisle Gelle, Ron Vincent Dicta, Francis Elijah Soleรฑo, Francis Yael Felicio, Joshua Tabud, Francis Yuel Camral)
The ministry would like to extend its sincerest thanks to everyone who helped them participate in this yearโs ALTAR SERVERS CAMP-OUT. Especially to our parish priest Rev. Msgr. Alejandro Esperancilla and parochial vicar Rev. Fr. Kristoffer Lorenz Basbaรฑo. We also would like to thank Mr. John Tentia for giving us his time and effort for us to be able to participate in the event.
