True worship begins when we Honor God’s name and rest in His presence.

We don’t just break the commandments… sometimes, they expose what’s breaking us. Today we begin a new series on the Ten Commandments—not as a list of rules to follow, but as a reflection of who God is and how He calls us to live. At its core, this isn’t about religion—it’s about worship. And the truth is, we are all worshippers. The real question is: who—or what—sits on the throne of your heart?

Is it God, or is it God plus something else?

“You shall have no other gods before Me.” Simple, yet deeply challenging. Because idols aren’t always obvious or evil—sometimes they’re good things we’ve slowly made ultimate. Success, relationships, comfort, even ourselves. Anything that takes God’s place in our hearts becomes something we end up serving.

So take a moment and check your heart: what defines your joy? What do you run to? What, if taken away, would shake you the most? That might be your god.

The Ten Commandments don’t save us—but they point us to our need for a Savior. They reveal God’s character, our condition, and the kind of worship He desires. Today is an invitation—not to try harder, but to surrender fully. Not God plus anything… just God alone, at the center, where He rightfully belongs.

Another crisis. Another uncertainty.
Rising prices, heavy burdens, anxious thoughts… and sometimes, a tired heart asking, “Lord, nasaan Ka?”

Even when the storm is loud, Christ is still in control—even when He seems silent.

Like the disciples, we panic. We focus on the waves instead of the One who commands them. We forget who Jesus is… and what He has already done.

Yet the truth remains:
We are chosen
We are called
We are not alone in the storm

Crisis is real—but so is our God.

Maybe today you feel overwhelmed, pagod na pagod, or even drowning in worries. Don’t stay there.
Acknowledge the struggle. Surrender it to Him. And remember your identity in Christ.

Because in the middle of uncertainty, one thing is certain:
Jesus is in the boat. And that changes everything.

Just like the disciples in the storm, it’s easy to panic when life feels overwhelming—when the pressures of today, the uncertainty of tomorrow, and the weight of our struggles start to sink in. We ask, “Lord, do You even care?”

But the truth remains:
Christ is in control—even when He seems silent.

The storm is real.
The fear is real.
But so is our God.

He has never left the boat. He never will.

Maybe today, God is not removing the storm yet—but He is reminding you who He is in the middle of it.

So instead of fear, choose faith.
Instead of panic, choose trust.
Instead of focusing on the waves, look to the One who calms them.

Crisis is real. But Christ is in control.
