When we hear the word discipleship, we often picture a class, a curriculum, or someone with a title leading a group.

For many parents, the first place discipleship begins is far more familiar.

It is the kitchen table, the drive to practice, the bedtime routine, the conversation after a hard day, and the moment when a child asks something you were not prepared to answer.

God has always done deep work in those small places.

A living room can become holy ground.

A meal can become a moment of formation.

A parent who admits, “I need God’s wisdom too,” can teach more than a dozen perfect answers.

You can start intentional discipleship with a few simple steps.

Bring Jesus into the life you already have.

Read a short passage, pray before a decision, speak a blessing, and ask forgiveness when you mess up.

These ordinary moments can become the soil where lifelong faith grows.
