THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PROTESTANT BIBLE AND THE CATHOLIC BIBLE

The Catholic Bible contains 73 books, including the Deuterocanonical books, while the Protestant Bible has 66 books and excludes these texts. Historically, the Bible was compiled and canonized by the Catholic Church through councils such as Rome in 382 AD, Hippo in 393 AD, and Carthage in 397 AD. These councils affirmed the 73-book canon used by the Church for more than a thousand years.

In the 16th century, Martin Luther questioned some Old Testament books and removed the Deuterocanonical books from the canon he used, placing them separately. This later influenced Protestant Bibles. The Catholic Church reaffirmed the original canon at the Council of Trent in 1546.

Ang mga Banal na Misa ay susunod sa karaniwang iskedyul ng Sunday Mass. Magkakaroon din ng Banal na Misa sa ganap na ika-10:30 ng umaga sa Villa Tonang, Barangay May-iba, Teresa, Rizal, na susundan ng prusisyon.

Isasagawa ang pagbabasbas ng mga imahen ng Santo Niño at ng mga bata sa lahat ng Banal na Misa. Pagkatapos ng ika-9:00 ng umaga na Misa, magkakaroon ng palaro para sa mga bata sa bakuran ng simbahan.

Green is worn on vestments and displayed in the Church to mark this season as a time of steady conversion and the flourishing of Christian life.
