Sometimes, the deepest wounds are not caused by others…
They are caused by the voice inside us that says, “You are not enough.”

We think people are judging us.
We think the world has condemned us.
But often, the heaviest judgment comes from ourselves.
Guilt over our mistakes can become self-inflicted pain. We punish ourselves with shame, with silence, with the belief that we no longer deserve peace.
But here is the truth:
You were never meant to carry that burden alone.
The Atonement of Jesus Christ is proof that your story is not over. His grace is not just for the perfect—it is especially for the broken, the struggling, the repentant, the weary. Through Him, guilt can be replaced with peace, shame with hope, and despair with healing.
You are not beyond redemption.
You are not beyond forgiveness.
You are not beyond love.

Healing begins when you stop condemning yourself and start believing that Christ already paid the price—for you..

This is what I realized when I finished my sons project:

An empty bottle—hollow, seemingly worthless in the eyes of many. But in the right hands, it becomes a beautiful flower.

This is also what the Atonement of Jesus Christ does for us. At times, we feel broken, dirty, and unworthy. We carry mistakes we try to hide, sins that seem impossible to erase. But with Christ, no soul is ever thrown away.
Through His Atonement, sinners are not only forgiven—they are changed. What was once broken is made whole. What once seemed meaningless is given purpose. What was once unclean is cleansed and made beautiful in the sight of God.

Like an empty plastic bottle reshaped into a flower, we too are molded by the Savior—not to remain as we were, but to become sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father, filled with hope, light, and new life.
If you feel like an “empty bottle” today—remember this:
In the hands of Jesus Christ, you still have a new story.
There is still beauty in you that you have not yet seen.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

You are not disposable. You are being shaped.
You are not defeated. You are redeemed.

Have you ever wondered where true healing, hope, and purpose really come from?

The Plan of Salvation is centered on Jesus Christ, and this is not merely a belief—it is a truth taught throughout the scriptures. From the beginning, God’s plan was designed to help His children return to Him, and the Atonement of Jesus Christ is the central act that makes this possible. As stated in John 14:6, Jesus declared, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Without Christ, there is no path back; with Him, there is always hope.

The Atonement of Christ is infinite and eternal. According to Alma 7:11–12, Jesus took upon Himself our pains, sicknesses, sins, and infirmities so that He would know how to help us in every weakness. This means the Atonement is not only about forgiveness of sins—it is also about spiritual, emotional, and even mental healing. When we feel broken, overwhelmed, or unworthy, Christ understands perfectly.

Another powerful truth is found in Isaiah 53:5, which teaches that “with his stripes we are healed.” Healing through Christ is real. It comes through repentance, prayer, ordinances, and daily efforts to follow Him. Romans 5:8 reminds us that Christ’s sacrifice was an act of pure love: “While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Because of Jesus Christ, failure is not final. Because of Him, death is not the end. Through His Resurrection, all will rise again (1 Corinthians 15:22), and through His grace, we can change and grow. The Atonement assures us that no sin is too great, no heart too wounded, and no soul too lost to be reached by His love.

God’s plan is a plan of redemption, mercy, and hope. At its center stands Jesus Christ, our Savior, Redeemer, and Healer—inviting all of us to come unto Him and be made whole (Matthew 11:28).

Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

Today, my heart is heavy as I learned about the passing of our beloved prophet, President Russell M. Nelson. I will always treasure the sacred moment when I had the chance to shake his hand during his visit here in the Philippines, at Makati—a memory I’ll never forget.

I am deeply grateful for his inspired teachings, his unwavering faith, and his Christlike example of discipleship. Truly, his life was a testimony of love, service, and obedience to the Lord. His legacy will continue to guide and inspire us to always choose the higher way.

God be with you till we meet again, President Nelson. 🙏 Thank you for pointing us to Jesus Christ and for reminding us to always look heavenward.
