Novena to Saint Joanna, wife of Chuza and Myrrh Bearer
DAY 9, May 23
Saint Joanna, faithful love kept you close to Jesus during His public ministry and in the Paschal mystery of His passion, death, and resurrection. In heaven, you powerfully intercede for us to the Glorious Lord. Your name is celebrated on Earth among the faithful. People call you "Saint Joanna the Myrrh-bearer" in memory of your role in the passion and death of Jesus.
Our dear Saint, help us to imitate you in your generosity, faithfulness, and closeness to Jesus in His Passion. Support us with the glory you saw in His Resurrection, which you now enjoy forever in heaven.
On this last day of our novena, we ask for this special grace (mention here). May we intercede for us, and may our devotion to you grow deep and strong. Amen.

Heavenly Father, Saint Joanna followed Jesus and provided for him and the disciples out of her means. As we honor her memory, may we follow the example of her holiness aand generosity. We ask this through our Lord Jesus your Son who lives nd reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
