🇵🇭 GROWING IN FAITH, LEADERSHIP, AND PREPAREDNESS
At Rowenas Child Development Center in the Philippines, children are gaining practical skills while growing in faith, character, and confidence.
Throughout August, children participated in activities focused on disaster preparedness, leadership, and caring for others. They learned what to do during emergencies such as earthquakes and typhoons, including the importance of staying calm, listening to trusted adults, and being prepared.
The children also explored what it means to be a good neighbor and help build a safer community. Through leadership and faith-focused sessions, they were encouraged to serve others, take responsibility, and become positive examples in their homes and communities.
Parents, volunteers, and partner organizations joined in supporting these activities, strengthening the community surrounding the children. Even simple moments, like celebrating birthdays together, helped children feel remembered, valued, and that they belong. 💙
Throughout the year, Rowenas Child Development Center walks alongside children and families through education, nutritious meals, spiritual formation, creative activities, and support that helps children grow in every area of life.
